Worked here from 1990 to 2012 and recognize every inch of the place; where I used to sit, meeting rooms, little corridors where I'd have more secret meetings. So sad to see the place getting pulled down but I'm glad part of it will always be here on this video. Was a brilliant place to work. Full of ghosts now.
Awesome explore, Alec. Some size of a place and imagine the electrical bill? Loved the engine room, and the White House is beautiful. Great photos and drone footage. That was a strange tree Derrick was hiding behind. Well done you two.
I always wondered what this site was like, thanks Alec. And i love the auld manor house, wis probably a grand mansion in its day. Hopefully it's listed and can be saved.
Wow, awesome explore. Can't believe it's now empty. I delivered demonstrator cars there a few times, for staff changing company cars, probably 8 years or so ago. The place seemed buzzing with activity then, sad how times have changed.
Playing 'hookie' from work to go Explore, lol, good on ya Lads! Must be Stirling Scotland, that's where the Wallace Monument is, along with other significant locations in Scottish History, and it's stunningly beautiful all around, ta boot! Alec you do have a keen, sharp photo eye, I think, a wee bit of artistic talent. It's fun, these wee adventures, I just recently found this and a couple other channels, very cool, and I enjoy most of it. Voyeurism, lol, what fun! hahahaha 😃🙂😁
I worked there for nearly 30 years. 30 very happy years, it’s very sad to see such awesome buildings left to go to ruin. It could have been put to so much better use.
Some place that, never even knew it was empty now although the last time I passed, the exterior looked a bit ropey. These big offices always look a bit like Castle Grayskull from the outside 😅 Cracking explore.
Ive actually driven by this place many times and never really realised that it was abandoned or noticed it was there at first. Most recent streetview has Central demolition ltd barriers on the access to the differen buildings
My last day in that building was just after Covid hit. Now mostly WFH but sometimes go into the new offices across the road. Sad to see the state it is now. Cracking video.
ah, this is so interesting! great video :) i was hoping you’s would take a gander round the capita building (the one you passed at 0:55)! i worked there a number of years ago and would be interested to see what its like now.

That used to be one of the largest employers in the area. 40ish years ago when I was still in high school, you were considered very lucky if you got a job there. They had lots of perks, preferential mortgage rates, great working conditions, and private buses to take staff to and from work. Those were the days. Have they not moved to the new building across the motorway by the river?
This is the ancient prudential site. Unfortunately a woman called Ish-bell Ciffeli worked there with a very controlling attitude towards my daughter. Other women who were rude Shayron Klacker and Keren Mitchell. Absolute narcissists. ❤

It's huge. Wondering what the story is on this property. Really nice building. Not much decay. One open door, how about that? Easiest way in, no climbing huh Alec, haha! Crappy day for an explore. Cheers! Is that white building abandoned too? Be neat if it was. Great drone footage.
I was thinking of leaving Canada n headed back home to Scotland for a summer n see if I couldnt get some carpentry jobs to support ma'sel on a working holiday.
Strange and disturbing, like something out of Stanley Kubrick. And that big white mansion, the wooded hill and what looks like a massive flood plain behind (and a castle on a crag?). Seriously uncanny and creepy. You could re-shoot "The Prisoner" there tomorrow.
Just thinking about the massive amount of folks who used to work there. I knew a few of them What a waste. I hope it gets bought soon before it’s totally ruined.
@@kylemuirden6918 I passed it yesterday so it's still there and empty. Not sure if there's security now though. I done a video by drone, inside & out just over a year ago and there was no security but the day after I published it on here there was security in place.
@Ewan Mcinally The whole campus is called Craigforth. I worked there when Prudential ran the site, after they bought Scottish Amicable in the late 90s.

What a waste of a good building.Whoever is responsible or owns it needs replacing because I bet there is a hundred or more economic viable uses it can be put to.First of all data management ideal for installing and running servers for mining crypto currencies...etc Ideal film location, housing for illegal Immigrants or homeless or even private hotels and leisure resort.

Why was it so massive for an “insurance agency “? It looks more like a capital building 😂 congrats on your dedication to your work though! 🎉
I didn't know that place was abandoned . Such a big modern building, surely they could do something with it .
Renovated into affordable blocks of flats.

Homeless people could live there
Yes they could at least it would be somewhere dry, it's a such a waste of a building.
Zero need for anyone to be ‘homeless’ in the uk
A complex failure of the Scottish government to have not renovated the building into affordable blocks of flats for hundreds of struggling folks!
@lw1zfog even less so if buildings like this weren't just left empty!
Think, how many homeless people a place that size could accommodate. The place must be worth tens of millions of pounds.
omg those roof scenes especially the slippery bit aaargh weird but feels worse watching you guys doing it than it would if it was me 😆
