Hi, i'm from Philippines, specifically in Quezon City.
For Pinoys like me who wants to make this but can't find the materials, here's my tip:
.
For the Hard Paper, you can subsitute it with 240GSM paper or 300+ (Brand name from what i used is Stardream something) {Can be found in National Bookstore}
.
If you can't find EVA foam that are 3mm or 5mm thick, just use Styrofoam and 1mm EVA foam, just used the Styrofoam as a core and cover it with EVA foam (Styrofoam that are sized like Katana Handle){Styrofoam can be found in Expression or National Bookstore} {EVA foam can be found in Mr.DIY} [Warning: dont swing it too hard, remember, the handle is still styrofoam, it can break in half even it has an aluminum core but you can still repair it with hot glue, just be careful at fixing it]
.
For the Cloth, you can use old white cotton t-shirt or if you can afford one, buy Canvas Cloth, {Canvas Cloth cost P125 in National Bookstore}
.
Dyeing the cloth, you can use Food Coloring (Chocolate color) then rinse it a little
.
For the metal core, its expensive to buy the Garden Stick so go to your Local Aluminum and Glass hardware and ask for 1Meter Aluminum Hollow rod, which cost about P40 [Not all Rod has the same diameter, find your desire diameter for the aluminum rod, mine is 5mm]
.
For paints, Buy an Acrylic Top Coat spray can, Black Spray can, and Silver poster paint, you know what to do with it.
.
Just follow Yoga Cosplay's instructions and what i suggest are substitution if you can't afford or find the materials, i created mine and thanks to him, Subscribe to him!
