  • The second session of our webinar series dives into the subject of the unique and innovative 3D acousto-optic technology at the core of the FEMTO3D Atlas two-photon microscope developed by Femtonics.
This technology, which is at the core of the FEMTO3D Atlas microscope, grants extraordinary optical performance and unprecedented 3D resolution to this innovative All-in-One device. The AO deflectors guide the laser beam flexibly anywhere in a 3D sample, granting the scope the ability to perform simultaneous, fast 3D imaging and photostimulation, following free-form 3D scanning patterns, with a high speed and signal-to-noise ratio. With the help of the FEMTO3D Atlas, the in vivo physiological activity of the brain, heart, or any other organ can be examined in real time in 3D. The unique properties of this system enable researchers to image the activity of neurons, dendrites, and other neurophil activities in 3D about one million times faster compared to conventional two-photon microscopy.
