Kangaroo on the Barbie and esky full of piss, your all set. Plenty of roof top tents in Australia, just got to watch for drop bears. Bastards will tear you a new one if they get hold of you and don't get me started on the crocs
Do you do much out of your tailgate? Cooking for example? If so, is it crowded with the ladder coming down there? I like the idea of the rear tent coming off the back of the truck, particularly with the annex covering and protecting that area. But I worry about the ladder getting in the way.
After 5 years... Have you noticed any cracking with your bed cover? I have a similar shell and the static weight limit for the shell alone is 350 lbs. Did you do anything to reinforce the inside to support additional weight?
Do you have a preference between the two? I am looking at both of them. I love the annex of the Tuff, but I also Like how open the front runner can be... I am planning on installing a ladder rack onto a 4x6 trailer I have for the time being. I may get a new car in the future and dont want to invest money into new cross bars to support the tent since my cross bars only support 110lbs. but that could always change :)

Nice setup. I have the truck wanting to do the same but not sure if I will damage my canopy. Is that just an ordinary fibre glass shell? How did that hold up in terms of the weight on it. My canopy THEY SAY is only able to have 200 pounds on top of it static.

The first tent is FRONT RUNNER FEATHER -LITE is a little bit lighter and smaller than the 2 one.The second tent TUFF STUFF is bigger and comes with the annex... I call that private room:)any roof rack on any SUV is good for that tent. I bought it on line. The weight of the tent is 90 lb and 125lb .

I got 5 gallons tank on the roof with hose and shower head. I got this from e bay , name is ROAD SHOWERThe second one is water heater, comes with gas bottle and rechargeable battery and water pump. Works very simple , just push the button and you got hot water "on demand". this is one of the best product of Coleman.

Looks like an ARE Z-Series cap. What rail/rack system did you put on the ARE cap and on the cab of the Tacoma?
On that ARE cap was originally 2 tracks which is good for Yakima rack. This is what I use Yakima rack.
