Nancy dancing in the nightclub in phantom of Venice was a very fun and interesting job. but it's still weird!
Oh I love your top 3 selections! Those jobs are a big reason why I enjoy those three games so much. Nancy can be a museum curator or archaeologist as often as she pleases in my book. 😂

Love It! Apologies if you've already done this and I forgot, but you should do a ranking of Nancy's holidays. So only the mysteries where it starts as a holiday and then Nancy discovers a mystery. But rank it from the POV of how much holiday did nancy actually get and how relaxing/nice would you find it if you were on that trip!
I feel like we missed out on Nancy as an English teacher in Japan

For me the worst will always be the maid/chef job at Icicle Creek Lodge. It's so bad that I've never actually been able to complete the game because of it. Last time I tried playing, I got stuck during the towel scent puzzle (couldn't trigger Lou's or Bill's for some reason), and so I just tried going through the motions of each morning, setting the clock for different times. I had read somewhere that I might be able to get it after breakfast, so I just kept cooking and checking his room. Cooking and checking and cooking and checking... It drives me mad! lol
Oh no!! Lol! That hasn't happened to me before, but I definitely get why you'd hate it for that reason!
Archeologist might be the best job ever! I looooove history, and like you said, there's an inherent mystery, and I obviously love those too! That's why I'm a Nancy Drew girl!!

im curious why didn't you put the snack shop from warnings at waverly academy on the list that jobs like the cook and maid from white wolf
Because the snack shop isn't a paid job, it's a student job. Like a chore.
The criteria might need to be restated slightly. I think you said that it had to be the kind of thing that someone might get paid for, even if Nancy didn't. Of course, interns are never paid, but they do things that could be a stepping stone to a paying job. The spirit of the list seems to have to do with acquiring job skills.
Paid internships do exist, so I was primarily clarifying that she didn't "have" to get paid for the job in order for it to count for this list. It does have to be a formal job that she gets hired to do though, something that would usually have an application process or formal hiring process, for example.

Yes, but that's included in my "money-making scheme" video since it's temporary and not a major focus of the game. It's also voluntary and she isn't "hired" to do it.
Am I the only one who enjoys the frass puzzle??? I totally get why people find it tedious but there are puzzles in Nancy Drew games that are waaaaay worse in my opinion
I personally don't mind it that much, I just know that a ton of people do, lol
