This clip reminds me of my first time eating bourbon chicken in middle school. We would ride the city bus to and from school. But there was a wait period to transfer busses. During that wait period, my older siblings took me to the local mall and we ate there before going home. It was the best bourbon chicken I ever had. Then they sold it and the quality went down. It was sad to see it go. But recently, the original owners opened up a restaurant and now I can eat it whenever I go visit my parents! 😋
You don't know how happy I am to live within driving distance of a lot of places you recommend. I love Southern California

Omg that place looks like it has awesome food! I now live in the country and there’s only one Chinese restaurant but it’s so good and they give us so much food. The orange chicken has real orange pieces in it and I love the bitter orange skin with the sweet sauce 😋

So know what you mean... Few years back our favorite traditional Chinese family restaurant that made the BEST szechuan & kung po ever closed. I get depressed thinking about it & crave it so bad 😞😢 I haven't come across any that even come close.
My favorite chinese/Japanese/ Korean buffet didn't survive covid. Our whole family was crushed. They had several dishes that just were outstanding but a few that were just okay but they had sushi. Not just a few but a whole row of it. No other buffet comes close to what they had. They even had introduced kimbap to the area and everyone loved it.
I like orange chicken but during covid when no restaurant were open I googled and watched many many many youtube cooks and chefs and just decided I could do it! I have learned all types of sauces from around the different parts of China and SEA hubbys favorite funny enough, tangerine beef. Mine tho. Using those fermented black beans to make blackbean garlic sauce.. on pork with eggplant. Oh my!

I love orange chicken so much I learned to make from my son-in-law,they own a restaurant, if I'm ever in the area I'm definitely stopping by to try this orange chicken.

That’s awesome that they are opening up more locations of Golden Chopstix. We have been going to the one in Eastvale for years. I wonder if the food tastes the same at different locations.
There used to be Chinese store named Golden Express, the owners where there for well over 20 years. It was 4 seniors working there, 1 women who was the main cashier and server. Another women who would cool and 2 men who would help her and occasionally refill the plate in the front where you order. Their food looks exactly like the one they make in the video, it brought be back and I can even taste the orange chicken through the screen as I type 🤤, exactly as you described it, crispy and sweet on the outside and juicy and delicious inside.
This video genuinely made me cry. I’ve been going through a really bad depression for the past couple months and this video was super relatable. Thanks for making this Lofe. You also turned me onto a new song lol.
I used to live near Norco and it kind of make sense why the orange chicken tastes so good. Norco neighbors a city called riverside and it's famous for its oranges. There are so many orange trees that people literally stop on the side of the road to pick oranges. More specificly a farm called Gless Ranch where the oranges are so sweet that you would need to call in to make sure they had bags of oranges available. It's crazy to hear people come from San Francisco just for these oranges. Def got to try this chicken.

I just moved to Taiwan. I had a hard time adapting to the food here. However I found this 'orange chicken' I seriously survive on this 😵💫😭
some popular taiwanese dishes I would recommend are beef noodle soup, scallion pancakes, and xiao long bao. I would also recommend shaved ice(my favorite is mango) for dessert. Taiwanese food can be pretty good once you get used to it imo!

I found a really good recipe on youtube from a Chinese lady that uses really oranges. My whole family liked it, except for my brother who hates oranges😅. It's from souped up recipes. I like her because she's really precise, and I'm not at all Chinese so I have no experience with the cuisine. I needed precise directions and she did a good job, I think.

I had the best orange chicken in the Brock University campus dining hall. On some days, that was all I could think of having after classes. No other restaurant has ever come close to that. I can't tell if they make it like that anymore, but it was the best thing they had in the dining hall during my 4 years at the uni.

I've been obsessed with Chinese food lately. The food I've eaten in the local Chinese restaurants are soo bomb, so flavorful but not overwhelming. Chinese takeout is really really amazing 👏
