Will watch all the pre fight interviews from before the AJ vs Parker fight. BOTH fighters confirmed there was a rematch clause in that contract and Parker himself has admitted he felt he didn't need it. Like i said he was clearly confident he'd beat AJ and has been left with egg on his face, now having to take this fight as a route back to a title shot

Parker might not be the best speaker or trash talker, since Whyte said lots of stupid things and he didn't even go to beat him verbally when he could. But he's a warrior and even tho i like both fighters, i feel Parker will beat Whyte on points. Too much speed, too good of a boxer with superb chin. I doubt it. Parker is the only fighter who is willing to travel halfway around the world to prove his mettle and for that reason he will win. Along with the fact he's faster more durable, better cardio has Championship experience and isn't scared of anyone. He will get those belts when it's all said and done.

Yeah but everyone else saw him as a coward unfortunately. What Higgins and Barry did was emphasize that Parker had never been down and he had a granite chin. Parker then had to maintain that expectation, so getting in and slugging it out would have potentially made him the laughing stock of world boxing if Joshua connected flush while trading blows. It was stupid of Higgins and Barry to continually sell that point. It made Parker trigger shy and look like a coward!
