You are the only channel that is using a high focal length OTA on the AM5. I guess you have to use the external guide scope with a wider view for polar alignment because of plate solving doesn't work very well at higher focal length? Yet when you slew to target ASIAir has to plate solve to center. Are you using the newest beta version of ASIAir App? What has your experience with guiding at 2700mm FL. Are you able to keep total RMS below 1" for the whole session. I'm still thinking of a strain wave mount upgrade from my AVX. Enjoy your videos.
Can you leave the guiding window up on the next video? I’d like to see how what the guiding is like through out the image capturing part. It would help me make a decision on purchasing an AM5 for use with my C8 which has less FL than yours. Thanks.
