Man playing this when it was new or like only a few years old woulda hit different, but I was young and bad at games so yk. Picked this up in like 2022 instead
At 3:32 keep going toward the shiny. It's another soul item. Easy pickup too(under the wood overhang). Since he didn't have any souls (which you probably won't either it's cheaper to let yourself get killed. Homeward bones are 500 souls each and dying is free.
This is great video that you should probably do the 1st 3-4 minutes of this video on every build just level according to what you're going for

boss you don't gotta point out the literally required key items like the cell key and big pilgrim key, just expedite that shit by saying "clear the tutorial" if there's nothing unique to the build worth showing
