Pick up the Maono BA92 on amazon, it really is a nice quality arm and worth considering if you need a nice low profile arm. amzn.to/3HkJh5D . www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBDTCBNJ . maono.com

I know you probably won't see this, but I purchased a Maono XLR microphone, but the threading doesn't actually work with this arm. I don't know if I'm able to get an adapter for this- but i saw on the amazon reviews that someone managed to get the Maono XLR microphone set up onto it. I don't know what I or the product is doing wrong, could you help?

@@nicmachintosh6054 These boom arms never have the correct threading on them for a mic, which is stupid as they are made for microphones, but the boom arm its self should have came with a adapter in the box and microphone usually come with a adapter in the box as well. you should have got a little metal cylinder looking thing with threads on it with the mic and one with he boom arm. some times the mic has the adapter installed in the mic when you get it sometimes its lose in the box. so you can add or remove the adapter as needed, but you should have a adapter that works with one or both of the items.

If you see me using the red one that is a road XLR cable and it's very long, it came with one of my microphones and I'm guessing it must be 20 or 30 ft long, The black ones come from world's best cables and those are built with mogami 2549 cable and have neutrik connectors on the end, you can find world's best cable on Amazon and they allow you to choose the type of wire you want and the type of connectors but I prefer the mogami cables because they are very very very hard to destroy I mean you can beat the crap out of them bend them put them in odd situations kink them up and they're very rarely go bad. If I remember correctly there about 15 or 20 bucks for a cable and I usually get 10 ft ones, The length you need really depends on if you're just sitting at a desk or if you're going to be playing live I mean if you're playing live you want a longer cable or if you're going to be moving around your room I would probably get at least a 15 or a 20-ft cable but if you're just sitting at a desk I think a 10 ft cables perfect that way if you do need to get off the desk and maybe put the microphone on a stand on the floor near the desk you can still do that. Let me see if I can find a link to those cables. It says they're currently available but this will show you exactly which ones I got amzn.to/4ckasvQ
