I am a big fan of Ceasar Romero in these old westerns. These stories are in keeping with O Henry's Cisco Kid. They are very entertaining with a good mix of action, comedy and romance. Fun stuff

The way this was written or is it the way the actors played their parts. Such chemistry to bring the viewer into the story. The other Cisco movies seemed so forced compared to Cesar's flowing whisperer bringing you closer to the story making you part of it
Actually the first actor to play The Cisco Kid was by either Stanley Dunn or Robert Dunn in The Caballeros Way (1914), Vester Pegg in The Border Terror (1919), then Warner Baxter took over the part in the (1928) movie In Old Arizona it was the first major western to have sound, the film was such a success he then played the role for another 5 movies (one of those times while making a cameo) in The Arizona Kid (1930), The Cisco Kid (1931), A cameo in The Stolen Jools (1931) he played himself while in the character of the Cisco Kid, and then in his last movie The Return Of The Cisco Kid (1939). Cesar Romero was also in that movie, but as a sidekick he then took over the role of the same year in the movie Cisco Kid And The Lady.🤠
the fox cisco kids were good movies with good budgets,photography,actors.they kind of went downhill when monogram continued the series with gilbert roland.
