- While on board Volusia County Transit (Votran) bus #2207, I decided to film the "STOP REQUESTED" sequence. The automated announcement is only done in English, and the Luminator "Next Stop" LED message sign shows the static text.
Please note that I only did this video for informational purposes only, as many transit agencies now have automated annunciation systems and interior LED message signs on board buses and trains.
This is used on SunBus
Heard her voice on PVTA in Springfield, MA too.

@@GlobalTransitGuidebook Yep, it's a teensy bit annoying at times too. The one I've heard most often is "Just a reminder... No eating, drinking, or smoking on the bus."
@@3dkidsartfairs I see. PSTA in St. Pete does similar announcements, but no chimes prior to each announcement.

The Wave Transit (Mobile,Al) has the same system. It says all kinds of things. One says "PLEASE REMAIN SEATED UNTIL THE BUS COMES TO A COMPLETE STOP". The other most common is
"For your personal safety please do not cross in front of the bus". Others say "No disruptive behavior is allowed". Another says " Please use headphones when listening to your favorite music or radio stations. Thank you."
I wish JTA had this voice instead of the choppy robotic female voice that is used since around 2011.
