Es ist einfach viel schöner, gemütlich in so einem Sessellift den Berg über Wiesen, Felder und Bächlein hinauf zu schweben als in einer geschlossenen Kabine mit verkratzten Plastikscheiben den Hang raufzubrettern. Ich bedauere jeden einzelnen fixgeklemmten Sessellift, der diesen Seilbaggerschaufeln, mit denen die Leute die Berge superschnell raufgekarrt werden, weichen muss.
Mit dem Lift gab's die schönsten und entspannendsten Fahrten! Ich hätte mir so gewüscht, dass die BB Sölden hier die Eier besitzt, ihn zu erhalten. Das Geld dazu gibts bestimmt.
Och nööh! Schon 1974 als kleiner Junge bin ich mit ihm gefahren. Und seit dem bis heute, wenn wir mal im Ötztal sind. Wieder geht ein kleines Stück Geschichte weniger. Sehr schade. Die anderen Bahnen sind einfach keine Ersatz. Gerade die Einzelsessel sind doch das schöne!
That lift was not for people who are scared of heights.. it didn’t, as doesn’t single chair lifts commonly, go high from surface, but there was this optic false; when going over field and looking down to valley it felt like You were really high! Hundreds of meters without any safety because that seating was so ”fragile” & small and had just light chain as safety bar. Yep, that happened to me, as was my first time (summer) in single lift, and had to shut eyes for a few moments to comp that ”sitting in the clouds” feeling... came down, to replicate experience, from Hoch Sölden with it after a few moments though. ;)

Doppelmayr-Garaventa, Leitner, Poma and Bartholet are nothing but tyrannical corporate CUNTS of ropeway manufacturers, PATHETIC EXCUSES for ropeway manufacturers. Well in the 20th century they weren't so much because they made lovely lifts then. Then at the end of the 80's they decided to nationalize like British Railways did. Destroy all of the small companies and become 3 big monopolies(Bartholet didn't built their first detachable until 2008). And then they lobby governmental agencies into forcing evil safety standards and regulations against ALREADY PERFECTLY SAFE ropeways which have proven for FAR LONGER THAN MODERN SHITTY SCRAP LIFTS to have NO SAFETY DEFECTS CAUSED BY MECHANICAL DESIGN, this is all done so that they can sell as much of their shitty modern piles of scrap WHICH SHOULD GET FUCKING DAMN WELL DESTROYED INSTEAD as possible. The more modern lifts sold? The more money. Yay for the corporate cunts. Boo hoo for the masses. Corporates call the shots while we're all forced to just do nothing more than earn a living. Well we should stop relying on them to do everything for us, provide all our water electricity and food, manage all the public transport etc, then do shady deals with governmental agencies to force their will on the world, and sneakily get most of the public to agree with every word that they say because they paid governmental agencies into manipulating children through the education system into believing that daddy governments and mummy corporates/mummy state know best and that we know nothing and should not come to our own conclusions on things and just follow every fucking word that they fucking say just so they can keep their high ass income as high as it is. SICK AND TWISTED CUNTS I SAY!!! They didn't bring ME down at school! I TOOK NO SHIT FROM THEM CORPORATE DEMONS!!!
