    That was really fun. You should spar more celebrities like Scott Atkins and others you have. It's really amazing to see you use your incredible kicks and whatnot against some of the greats we all love and know. Oh man it would be awesome to spar MVP as he's also a point fighter. Oh in sparring how do you use the blitz if you don't want to connect too hard with your partner. It's a rather fast technique and hard to do slowly.

    • @GingerNinjaTrickster
      @GingerNinjaTrickster  Před 4 lety +2

      James Baker Maybe in the future, I just need to train more for that sort of thing.
      As for the blitz, you can accelerate and when you know you have it, you can hold back a little. There does need to be trust as when you hold back, they shouldn’t lash out or hit when you do as they should know you’ve held back.
      I do this when Cung closes the distance and doesn’t open it up so I don’t want to hit him as he’s holding off as it would be disrespectful.

    5'10?
    I thought you were taller …, ;)
    BTW How much do you think height affects what techniques you can do smoothly?
    Back in my TKD days I noticed that guys around 5'5 -5'6 or so were really good at jumping spinning back kicks, even if they were low ranking, while the tall guys found it difficult.

    • @GingerNinjaTrickster

    • @GingerNinjaTrickster
      @GingerNinjaTrickster  Před 4 lety +1

      Quite clever really. I went that way to avoid the potential spin technique that he likes. Side stepped with the jab and caught him with it but he dropped the leg and got behind my knee joint for the scissor. Definitely a nicer way of getting caught by it as I avoided a lot of the impact from the swing leg by doing what I did.
      Feel honoured to have got caught by it though to be honest 💪😁

    That must have been a hell of an experience. In is prime, Chung was one of the best stand up fighters I’ve ever seen. His transitions from stand up, to take downs and the way he set up his spinning back kick was beautiful. I would have loved to see him fight MMA in his mid 20’s at 170. Imagine a Prime Cung at 170 vs a prime GSP? That would have been insane.

Since your strokes are more technical and perfect. I want to give you an idea for a movie, put a copy of a fight from a famous movie. For example, a blood sport. You're van dam, and you're completely copying the final fight. 😊 it will be fun and I think all subscribers will love it. Of course you can choose Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan, but I think your style van dam Films are more suitable. You both work beautifully with your feet. 💪👍 .... Sory if bad english, i am from Russia 😊
