Each segment on the X-terra covers 4 VDI's if the target happens to be between VDI's X-terra may jump across 8 VDI's or 2 segments. Listening to tones is the secret. I have an Equinox 900 and an AT MAX, I bought an X-terra pro for my grandson, I've ran the X-terra pro over targets I've found with the 900, the X-terra finds all of them. Great machine for the money without a doubt.

You will need to lower the sensitivity down to 15 and not be At full sensitivity and 21-25 Is that and I'm running mine at 12 and still getting Targets that are 4-6 inches deep 15khz swing speed 3 and I love 💕❤❤❤ the X-Terra Pro.....

That is going to be determined on the areas emi and ground conditions.

@@SodBustersMetalDetecting WHAT ¿¿¿¿¿Your Jumpy VDI Is what I'm talking to you about and nothing about EMI and Ground Conditions but it's about the X-Terra Pro and it's not liking the full sensitivity and it's giving you basically All Ground feedback and telling you that it's not necessary to be at Full Sensitivity for it to Work and anything lower than 20 will be great for the X-Terra Pro and it's not necessary to be that Hot 🔥 and the X-Terra Pro and the jumpy VDI and it will let you know when you have a great target with the more solid number and lower sensitivity and when you have a JUNK Target it will be the jumpy VDI and will not lock in and the lower sensitivity and that's what I have noticed on my X-Terra Pro that I have in my Hands and No EMI is present and you must do a noise cancel and ground balance to give the X-Terra Pro an Idea of the Area and mineralization that is present to accommodate for , but just lower the sensitivity and It will be there and ALOT better detector than I have Used before from Notka Macro....

You can lower the Sensitivity down and I have seen some videos of it on 2 sensitivity and others are in the 10 Sensitivity and doesn't have any kind of extra noises that you have ....
