I think I needed to hear this.. The "Christian girlie's esthetics" really had me confused. Iv never really been a Bible person. When I lost everything, my job, friends.. I felt I had no one and one day was on tick tock n came across Christian side.. Got myself a pink Bible.. I quickly realized that as much as I can see to the girlie's reading their Bible, have little notes they make and do it so effortlessly.. I was not connecting. I read everything , I understood nothing until I decided that I will do things my way and differently. I couldn't pray for hours on end, I ddnt even know wat to say when praying. I decided the more I try to emulate what others are doing, I won't learn anything. I felt bad for not knowing scriptures by heart.. I then started waking up and having a conversation with God instead of "praying". Instead of checking what scriptures others are reading to look like them, I decided I will learn from the index of the Bible depending on how I am feeling and match that instead (Blessed App) also helps 😊 . I am far from knowing the Bible but I started and I am enjoying it..
I am doing it myself too, and one day I will know the scriptures, I pray every morning and night, I read devotionals on my app day and night. And sometimes it just happens nje that I praise God and pray in the middle or doing washing and I'm learning and I like that I am not overwhelming myself.. ❤

Last week I deleted my Tiktok because of the very same reason. I felt like I was not doing enough for God and that he looks at me in disappointment. When I make a little mistake I condemn myself and deem myself unworthy of the kingdom but the Bible says "Nothing can ever separate us from the love of God." Since I started working after not working for 3 years I pray and worship less because I'm constantly at work and now I cry myself to sleep because I feel like I give more attention to the job I prayed for than the one who gave it to me, but I know how much I love God and even at work I'll listen to praise and worship and get emotional and his never ending love. This journey is different for us all, everyone in the Bible saw and experienced God differently❤ that's why I relate to and love Xoli so much. She speaks from every perspective and makes it easier for us to understand how much God loves us. And how we can all connect to him DIFFERENTLY. I always say I feel God more when i worship him, yes I feel him when I pray but worships makes me feel like he is hugging me, and I know now that doesn't make me less of a christian than someone who prays multiple times a day and for hours because I worship him every chance I get❤

I used to think I'm the only one.. I am unable to pray in a group setting. I end up listening to them pray instead... I feel and hear myself more when I pray alone or in silence. I think I tend to get too distracted when others are praying outloud next to me.

Can I just ask? Why does it feel like ever since I’ve given my life to Christ life feels so much harder. It reminded me of why I left church in the first place cos I grew up in church.
I truly enjoyed this vlog the 3am explanation makes so much sense for some reason when I am going through anything in life angeke ngilale the whole night I always find myself wade awake exactly at 3am and when I told my friend about it she said girl pray n that has helped me a lot in life, this doesn’t happen all the time but when it happens I just know ukuthi now God wants me to open up to him a tell him what’s up and also give thanks ♥️🙏🏾

Hey Xolile I’m not sure which Bible tools you use to study the word but I’d recommend that you try Pastor Paul . The CZcams channel is Calvary chapel Ontario. He teaches the word chapter by chapter and verse by verse.

My struggle is abstaining
I used to think I'm the only one.. I am unable to pray in a group setting. I end up listening to them pray instead... I feel and hear myself more when I pray alone or in silence. I think I tend to get too distracted when others are praying outloud next to me.

I dont participate in group prayer. I rather keep quite. It doesnt make sense for me
