Love it or hate it, the show must have done something right to have run for so long. I am a huge fan, having watched from episode one, so this news almost made me cry with excitement. I’ve really missed it.
Me too, I was so excited when I heard the news last night. I may or may not have got a bit teary.🥲 there really isn't another show like it. That became very evident to me when it ended.

I cried I didn't watch the last episode because I felt so upset but I did tape it .Today I am going to watch it knowing that in June they will all be back .I hope Jane and Mel will come back
They’ve started writing the scripts and one of the early new stories is that it turns out Paul Robinson has been using Lassiter’s hotel time machine to travel back in time and he is in fact the real father of everyone who has ever appeared on the show including himself.
Hopefully this time it’ll be more like the old Neighbours. There’s a CZcams video of 30+ years ago and it’s Madge, Henry, Scott and Melanie and it’s so good yet simple. All that Lassiter’s stuff is expensive.
Same here! I already got Freevee and I'm waiting 'til the 2nd half of the year for the adventure to begin. I can already begin to feel the excitement that America is about to experience soon. 🎉👋🏻🇺🇸

Great news. However I think that this clip is odd in that the characters acknowledge that they're on a TV series (akin to breaking the 4th wall, I guess). I think that they could have done something a bit more clever... and subtle. Maybe a 2 minute clip every now and then of them living normally either before or after an Amazon advert to start with.

All the sets will be there they said noughing will change. I know it's just a show but in the world in which we live in its just great to escape for a time that show really made people happy can't wait for next Summer 😊
My Mum loves Neighbours except for one thing too much homosexuality she denies being homophobic but says they keep shoving it in our faces she doesn't see it as being progressive I've told her not to watch it but she still does simply because she's been watching it for decades. I've been watching it religiously for the last 15 years!
All the people commenting here are probably the only ones who watched it! It was awful thats why the viewing figures were at an all time low. It clever for Amazon to buy it as it will generate new customers, but when Amazon realises that after the novelty wears off and no one watches it, it will be cancelled again but it will still have those customers with Prime memberships lol.
One of the most stupidest decisions in TV history to cancel Neighbours.

The Aaron and David storylines have been some of the best ones of the past few years, plus they make such a cute and believable couple.

This is crap,it’s an Australian show and freevee isn’t available in Australia, they better put it on prime as well (old eps included)
If you watch in full you'll hear that it will be on Ch 10 first !
It was canceled cause no one was watching it.... so why would Amazon pick it up its boring and PG day time soaps don't work anymore.
