Detox gave me a hug in Brazil when she performed here 1 or 2 years ago and all I could think was OH GOD THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST SMELLING PERSON I EVER MET, she’s a sweetheart and that perfume was so dawn good, I can remember that day like it was yesterday! Absolutely love her ♥️

The first time I met detox was right before she moved to Chicago. She went to watch rhea litre's new show at fubar in West Hollywood. (I was in drag) she said I looked beautiful and she rested her head on my shoulders while watching the show. She is hands down my favorite ru girl, very genuine and very kind to her LGBT+ family.

This interviews are great, so much of the media around drag race and the alumni is sensationalist and high octane, while I LOVE the adult nature of these interviews, like a proper grown up discussion. You get a better idea of the girls, they aren't throwing each other under the bus and talking about each other in a very positive and respectful manner, even if they don't necessarily like each other. Just goes to show how manufactured the drama a lot of the time is.
Also, as a fellow mid-30s gay, I love how Detox is living her life as I am mine, just being an old lady and happy!
I was so underwhelmed with the Werq The World interview - it didn't do Detox justice. So I was really happy to see your interview offer so many new insights and to learn more about the Detox journey.😀

Detox is amazing. I think she has a point saying people are getting bored. I don’t even watch Drag Race anymore I just watch all the world of wonder girls recap everything in their shows like pit stop, fashion photo review and others. I like the looks and stuff but honestly it couldn’t sit through an entire episode of Drag Race. It’s the same every year. I’d tune in to see more diversity shaking things up.

Amazing interview as always, it was kinda disheartening the topic about ppl invalidating Detox’s run on All Stars 2 even when she brought it to the runway and did really well on the challenges.
Yeah I hate to stereotype, but a lot of Katya fans invalidate her run on AS2, I loved her on it and her fashion was next level!
My all time favorite outfit from anyone in any of the contests was the reunion black and white illusion, it was Everything - and she did win the reunion!
