    As a photographer, I can tell you that they played a lot with the lighting in the before and after photos. So don't get fooled by the photos they made. You could clearly see the difference in lighting source, position and harshness in these pics. There are techniques in photography that show harsh shadows (making you look old) and soft shadows (making you look young).

    Now here's the thing..the young man is right about this bit of kit. Thing is..you can still improve your jawline without it. I am now 71, and have been exercising my jawline for many years without any problems..and best thing..it's free. Also you are in total control of the pressure you use...and all you need are your finger tips. Here's how it goes. You press your fingertips against your jaw muscles and start clenching your teeth. Use the amount of pressure you are comfortable with, and as many times a day or week you wish. Doing this, you are not using your front teeth, you are using the teeth at the back of the jaw. That's it. Try it. My doctor does not know I do this exercise, but has commented on how I look 60 and not my 71 that i am. Before i started this exercise years ago i had a sagging jawline that made me look my age or older. And it's safe. I have never had any jaw problems in the 30 something years I have been doing it. I worked it out for myself after toning up in the gym at the time. I thought..if I can tone my body muscles ..why not my jawline. Women especially can benefit from this simple exercise...without using all those expensive products out there. Why put money in someone else's pocket when you can keep it in your own. Oh..thank me later. 😉😀

      The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him.

      Meltin John I don’t think so man, I did a lot of research on it and from what I’ve read and testimonies heard, placing anything in the front of your jaw will do nothing but damage your teeth and strain your jaw, proper jaw strengthening exercises are done biting with the molars, reviews either say “extremely painful after regular use” or “been using it for a few months and see no change”, you’d be better off wadding up a giant ball of gum everyday and chewing for 5 minutes with the teeth you actually chew with, but biting down on something everyday with your front teeth is simply unnatural.

    As a fighter, my jaw doesn’t need to only withstand the forces of food but also stabilize my jaw so that it doesn’t shift. It’s not the exact muscles but similar enough that if I used the jawsercise to attach resistance from different angle I’m sure I’ll be fine. If it hurt your jaw you might have something wrong with it, unless you experience pain you should be fine. I feel like saying that the jaw muscles are only designed to chew foods and at the lever of the back teeth is like saying our legs are made for walking and therefore heavy deadlifts, at 10+ times the force of walking would be bad. But they’re not if done with good form. It may seem like there is no “good form” with such a simple maneuver but in reality if you have a forward head posture you are going to set up bad fixed points (punctum fixum ala Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) and have pain be more likely. Maybe learn some Dns breathing/ stabilization patterns and try again

      I’ve read about overdoing and the harm it can cause u. One thing I have in mind is this and if ur still around I’d like ur input on this. I suffered a accident last year on Mother’s Day that unfortunately left me paralyzed from chest down. Prior to the accident I was an athlete, a boxer. I had a strong jaw where I didn’t need this due to the fact that I already engaged in many jaw exercises. But now after my accident, a coma and weeks without being able to eat or talk, later, I lost a lot of muscles in my jaw. I get fatigued just after a few bites of my food till this day (1year 6 months later) so my whole thing on this is, I figured maybe give it a try to help strengthen my jaw and other muscles so I don’t fatigue as much or fast anymore and could enjoy my meals better. Since I don’t have the pleasure of exercising like once could.
      I do agree with wat u said tho, about hurting yourself. But I feel it can b beneficial for someone with a weak jaw, rather than looking to tone ur face. For that u might as well exercise
      Well hope to hear from you

      @Emperor I'm listening to my own body and I'll stop if I encounter any problems, which haven't happened thus far. That being said a lot of people say "because of the applied force" but there isn't really science on the matter to back it up. The professionals you see who talks bad about the product are only guessing with the knowledge they have, just like industry professionals will deny that mewing works, but since you are here I think we can both agree that it does. So all we really can base what's going to happen on is people sharing their stories. A lot of people have had good experiences and a lot of people have had bad experiences.

    • @JuicyBenji
      @JuicyBenji Před 4 lety +2

      @Emperor If you link a study I'll gladly look it over and yes with mewing there is a lot of proof as we can see with both Tomazo and Astro but that's hardly scientific. I do however think that Dr. Mew are trying to collect a loooot of data, so in a few years we can say that Mewing is supported by science as well.

    I agree! Mewing and stiff gum for an hour or so is perfect. Jawsercise is not based in science and goes against the natural anatomy of chewing hard foods, which is incidentally done with molars not your front teeth. You mimic nature, and that is what gum does. It is small enough even if you have more than one stick, to mimic food. Well done. Jawsersize is way too hard, cannot be done for any period of time, will cause jaw strain and damage front teeth and or jaw, doesnt build the muscles activated by molar chewing. You covered it all.

    I’ve read of this.

    I haven't faced the same issues you have, I've been using the product for about a year and there has definitely been some muscle growth. What I like about this product is that I don't need to train chewing for long periods of time. What will take a couple of hours with chewing gum I can get and then some with a 100 reps (I do have to point out that that's way more than they recommend) but it works for me.
    Everyone is going to have a different experience, sucks that you had a bad one. Other reviews I've seen has been with people who absolutely had no idea how to use the product and that's why they hurt themselves. Saying that it's harder than stiff food, for me at least, doesn't disqualify the use of it. At the end of the day it's just muscles you are working out, so you could extend the same logic for reviewing weights since they are heavier than what we would naturally come across in our everyday lives.
    Love your videos and looking forward to the collab with Astro :P

    Lay flat on your back. Fold a towel up into several layers , then place the towel on your forehead. Now place a dumbbell on the towel. Lift your head off the floor a few inches and hold it there for as long as possible. Rest a minute and repeat.
    I count to myself when holding the weight up. I use a weight that allows me to count to 50 until I can no longer hold it. As you get stronger you will be able to count 60 and then 70. When you are able to count to 70 , increase the dumbbell weight.
    You can feel thew strain in every muscle in your face and neck.

    Hey I have a really important question. So I have been wearing braces for 2 years now, because I had an accident when I was little where I fell of my bike and hit my nose. The ,,barrier, wall" of my nose had curved and this has resulted In me breathing all the time through my mouth. Orthodontists say that the fall is the result of my upper jaw and teeth coming forward. He had to put me a headgear (I don't know If Its the same thing as tentioner) to pull my upper jaw back so the bottom jaw can ,,Catch Up". So I was wearing It alot . Then I decided to type ,, headgear" on CZcams. There were soo many videos saying that headgear Ruins your whole head and It can kill you. There were so many people saying how dangerous headgear is and how their face got ruined. One has even written a whole article about how his neck spine has moved forward at the top so much that he now struggles to breath. And alot more problems. So I showed all those videos to my orthodontist and he said that It is okay to wear my headgear. Both my parents and my orthodontist didn't believe those videos. Then I even showed them a whole organisation ,,Right to grow" where they say that headgear ruins faces too. But Nothing. Now Im not wearing my headgear. Is that okay?

    I've been using Jawzrcise for awhile and I did my research before buying and saw a lot of good results and bad research opinions against it. There are a lot of people that claim that it can hurt you and jaw problems and etc. but I have yet to run into anyone or a story where something more than some jaw pain and a headache occured. Yes just like all things and products it's just not going to work the same for everyone. I was desperate to give it a try to get a jawline and get rid of my babyface(I'm 10% bf btw) and for the 3 months I've been using it I've seen great results. Also, i recently just saw a video by Brett Maverick on it and he showed a way to shove it in the back molars and make it more effective so I'm going to give that a try. Lastly, i will say this guy is just looking for anything to complain about this product like the saliva part is really not that bad at all and I even rinse my mouth with water before everytime. You really should be doing this in your room and not at the gym tho cause ngl it does look stupid but hey it gets the job done.

      @@Nashthedemi I've been doing it for months. You don't use your teeth to bite on anything. It's it literally only the muscle working.

    I don’t understand why would any one need to buy something like this, when you get the same effect just pursing your lips, like kissing motion, when exhaling during exercising. When treadmilling, elipticaling, cycling, running, strength or HIIT training. Just make the motion of kissing when exhaling out the mouth during workouts. That’s all. Just kiss on exhale. It’s said if you say something three times, you won’t forget it. Now, that’s what I just did, so you won’t forget.

      You flex your jaw with 40lbs of pressure when you run?

    • @eddietowers5595
      @eddietowers5595 Před 4 lety

      @Josh Gagnier, Who in the world would want to jog putting 40 lbs of pressure on their jaw, for that matter, why would anyone want forty pounds of pressure in their jaws? The whole reason for the “exercise” is purely for aesthetics, so, the same effects can be had just as said, every time you need to take a breather, purse your lips on exhale. It’s safer, doesn’t require anything more than just that to get the same effect in facial muscle. There’s no way anyone on this planet is ever going to gain a six pack on their face.

    I want to undo the effect it had on my face, but I think I'm stuck. I had a better jawline before I started using it.

      Omg omg me too . I overdid them and I guess even I’m stuck with this . My jaw and chin have no fat at all . My chin used to have a projection . Now I don’t have it anymore . Somehow it became short and jaw became slimmer . My whole face looks weird . Is it reversible ?:(
