Hello Elektriskstol.. I too have an extreme fascination with the electric chair..love your vids..l have a few vids on my created playlist you mite like.. Iv had dreams bout it ever sense l was a very small child..its like l have a connection to it that l dont understand.. This is a good video..
@@moneyman1995100 I checked on Wikipedia and you are right. I stand corrected. Seeing the prop electric chair in the chamber inclined me to learn towards studio set.
@@MontgomeryMall They carefully removed the metal chair and put in the electric one. Viggo was so strong during the opening scene he nearly broke the prop chair.
I do not know of any electrocution being performed in a gas chamber, however, Mississippi and North Carolina's electric chairs were moved into the gas chamber when those states switched to lethal gas. California has performed lethal injections inside of its gas chamber, although it has a new purpose built room for lethal injections now.
@@shyguy791 North Carolina did have its electric chair positioned side by side with its gas chamber chair for two years (1936-1938) after the first gas chamber opened at Central Prison in Raleigh. Electrocution was legislated out of use two years later and the electric chair was converted into a gas chamber chair. The chair presently is in the collection of the North Carolina state museum archives. It is not on public display. Mississippi's electric chair was one which was transported from county to county in the back of a small cargo truck. It would be set up in the county courthouse where the conviction occurred to conduct the execution. The Mississippi electric chair was replaced by the gas chamber constructed at Parchman Prison in Sunflower County in 1954. The electric chair was not placed in the Parchman gas chamber or in the proximity of the gas chamber at any time.
@Claude Konqui Agreed. This is indeed horrific. But it's a quite different issue from taking a position against the death penalty. Justice can and should be administered without causing suffering to the condemned. A competent firing squad, or a hangman such as the British executioner Pierrepoint, could do what needs to be done without causing such suffering.
can yall fry me in electric chair for pretend
Why the interest in electric chairs, Elektrikstol?
perverse ...
Because i watched "Carolina Skeletons" when i was a child! =S
That was enough to traumatize me for the rest of my life, hehe.
Regards =)

@@moneyman1995100 Very strange decision. I'm guessing it was meant to vaguely replicate North Carolina's facility?

So the murderers and accomplices looking in can get closer, and gloat over their handiwork, but are spared the nauseating smell of burning flesh.

ANTHILLS?!!! I DONT LIKE ANTS
Everyone who stands in favor of such a horror has a room waiting for him/her in Hell. Doing this is to be at the same level as the criminal.
Maybe a nice timeout instead.
