It is good but since majority of the people is shifting, there might be less demand of IT professionals in the future (just like the condition of mechanical engineers nowadays). 11th and 12th class students are not provided with proper awarness regarding engineering branches as like MBBS students has. also the private college degraded the value of mother engineering branches (EEE, MECH, CIVIL) and made people engineering easy by spoonfeeding and placements in CSE. Hence there is no difference between B. Tech and B. Sc now a days in private colleges for core engineering branches.
1. No awarness and No realisation that in terms of difficulty MBBS = B. Tech.
2. 90% Private colleges traps you in the name of placements
3. Parents always force children to enter where there is an easy way, in their opinion B. Tech is easy to settle sooon where as MBBS takes time
Who should tell them that except B. Tech CS/IT , core engineering branches is as difficult as MBBS:
1. Academics must be strong
2. Good GATE score
3. Strong final year project
4. Any research paper published
5. Internship
Do you think these things are easy ???? but you wont do a single thing by joining core branches in private colleges. Instead you blame that branch and join CS/IT placements.

*I am from Reasi Jammu itself , I hope that Indian govt should start working on this field very fast as lithium is in huge demand now who knows in future any new technology may develop India should set up huge mining plants here and also lots of water is available here from chenab and jhelum that should be utilised to manfacture quality battries and electronic vechiles export it to whole world. Also lot of employment problem can be solved with this and govt should encourage skill based laborers especially so many BA passed people from UP bIHAR WHO ARE TRYING FOR UPSC AND OTHER PEON LIKE JOBS govt should ensure proper salaries and job securities to all and distribute wealth among indians and use it for infrastructure development and also in other industries*

Geological survey of India recognised lithium deposits in that region in 1999 the work continued and it took almost two decades to move from mapping stage to inferred stage. It's not simply a process of dig the ground and get lithium out..
