I purchased both. The motion boom highs sound better. The X10 was louder but didn't sound as good as the motion boom Therefore, I returned the X10. I'm very happy with motion boom. The motion boom has a clearer crisp sound.
I had w-king x10 and never fail me, once you had equalizer in your phone you can hear it better than stock...in stock JBL Extreme sounds better, but once you set up manual your equalizer, w-king rules...there are some setup for bass boost that jbl extreme would sound crack like cheap speaker while same setup would release the beast out of w-king x10...but honestly if you don't have equalizer setup, then w-king x10 sounds so plain and ordinary..motion boom I never had it, but once I hear this one very nice also, but I didnt try my equalizer setup yet
The secret of success are the em-built neodymuim magnets which so far have hardly been used in portable speakers. The motion boom is equipped with it and this is also what makes the stand out.. The advantages are serious

The Bugani M83 is better. I bought two for £30 each. I recently bought a Motion Boom for £62.99 and tried it against one Bugani M83. Result: I returned the Motion Boom for a refund.

On a wide variety of music the M83 had a more spacious soundstage which appeared more natural and balanced. In comparison, on most tracks the Motion Boom sounded smaller and a bit compressed. The type of music where the Motion Boom could challenge the M83 was on orchestral/classical music. Then they were fairly evenly matched; otherwise the Bugani was superior. I have also compared the M83 to the W-King D8 and I preferred the M83. I also found that the Motiom Boom's sound weakened above 75 to 80% volume; unlike the M83 which can be played at 100% volume no problem. I have never seen a CZcamsr do a M83 vs Motion Boom review. I'd be interested to hear a comparison between a M83 and X10 or T9 W-King.

Naresh man in my opinion the x10 makes the boom sound like a lil baby speaker!! Where it really runs away with sound is at 80 percent or more volume..... when I had the boom at 80 or more bass and sound would drop off no matter how id eq in soundcore app ..... I mean volume got louder odviously but would distort and sound not as good as it did up to that volume level.... the w king comes with d9 and the t9 and now x10... all 3 at 80 percent or more just get better and meaner and more beautiful...... I ended up selling my d9s tried the t9 I liked a lot but no ip rating was deal breaker and now I have just 1 x10 and more I listen to it its hands down my favorite of the 3!!! Not another speaker touches it for sound and build quality.. the sound and build is phenomenal!!! And for 100 bucks it's unreal especially after owning the jbl extreme 2 and many others!!! I still haven't done the update on x10 but hopin later today my wife will help me with that!!!! Also I love how it sounds just stock but with android phone if person can go to sound settings hit adapt sound and under 30 yrs old it will boosts the highs..... in my opinion when a person does that it just really makes this thing so much better ..... Motion boom is an all rounder speaker, perfect bass, perfect sound. X10 isn't an all rounder. It's just has a very slight louder subwoofer level bass with lack of clarity. Motion boom is the real jbl killer.
Motion boom is only a JBL killer when it comes to the price it sounds okay but it sounds like it's coming from a cheap plastic Hollow box that's my opinion JBL Xtreme 2 even is better get the motion Boom for the money you'll be fine
At 100% volume the "Wking" is booming with balanced sound and crisp and louder than Motion boom where its getting muffled and not as well balanced like "Wking". For me "Wking" wins.
The X10 sound much warmer, the Motion Boom sounds like a Tenor singing with way to much nasal characteristic, or maybe my headphones doesnt do the Motion Boom justice, hmm. That Saxophone playing sound so much more realistic on the X10 than on the Motion Boom
Good videos but annoying that we don't get to hear the same part of the song, for the last outdoor song the Motion Boom had all the bass parts there was none on the X10 (only piano and trumpet), maybe have them play the same part for the next video or consider when you make the switch so we get to hear both play similar parts.
Just got my x10 couple days ago and my initial thought was its not that loud. I had volume all the way up on my phone and on the x10 and I was like it's no louder than my Douni A5 25watt speaker It sounds better than the Douni and alil louder but not by much at first. So I kept messing around with it and I don't know what I did but all of a sudden it got extremely loud like it was going to explode I mean loud. The next day played it again it wouldn't get that loud again but it just just plays at the volume it initially had before the power of Gray Skull happened. Also at first it would play then the volume would lower by itself to where you could barely hear it then a few seconds later the sound was gradually increasing until you can hear it again. Thought that was strange . Just wondering does this speaker have some hidden features not mentioned in the manual some info would be greatly appreciated anyone.

If you are into deep bass motion boom is better than most at 100% volume, you can still feel the bass. A lot of other speakers in this range tends to drop in deep bass when playing max volume. An extreme 3 user in the park was asking me about my motionboom.
@@nareshkeswani80 did you use the ND model or the GG model on the JBL Xtreme 3 against the x10 because if you used the ND model then I can maybe just maybe see the x10 beating it but the GG model is much better and it's not a small difference but the X10 will always be louder if you want just loud there you go

I found that there wasn't a great deal of diffence between them and the Bugani M83 on classical musical; but on various types of pop music the Bugani M83 was superior. The M83 has a wider, higher sound stage, is more balanced and the music does not sound like it is coming out of a box. In fairness to the X10, I did find just one song which sounded better when played it through the X10; but overall the Bugani M83 is better than both these speakers, especially when you take into account I bought two Bugani M83s for £30 each brand new.

You have to turn the volume up on the unit all the way and then turn the volume up on your phone. It doesn't slide along with your phone
