Thanks for posting - this gives a very good insight into an excellent film. Amy's fans must have been very impressed by her acting and also her ice skating!
Recently watched the film. Wow, my life exactly, as a younger sibling. Particularly the scene where the kid gets forced to wash dishes is straight out of my home and one I recently shared, ironically. My thoughts: I may be projecting, but while the film seems to have been intended to discuss eating disorders for someone to be that explosive, conniving and insecure the eating disorder must merely be a symptom for much more deep-seated issues, possibly related to repeated abuse. Eating disorders are solely one of many, many coping mechanisms for problems, people merely use addictive or compulsive behaviour to cope with. Sad reality: few of such people get help even if they want it, but go on to lead seemingly normal lives passing their issues onto their kids and peers. Well made, though.
+Evelyne Napp I wondered too, so checked on the DVD credits! The song is 'Ice Queen', written by the film's composer Per Störby Jutbring, and sung by Laleh. For some mysterious reason, the song doesn't appear on the soundtrack album/download, so there currently seems to be no way to buy it.
