    Nice chigg. I'm sure there's some nice undiscovered relics still in the ground around there. Love the thimble, so personal! I get a thrill holding something in my hand that was lost 200+ years ago. That's what does it for me!! Nice video my friend.

    Sometimes if you look hard enough in the tabby structures you can find native pottery. I guess the people that produced it got the shells from middens.

    They used that building technique during the civil war as well, fort Pulaski in savannah georgia has those molded concrete all around old home sites. So if you ever see oyster shells in a concrete mix, that can date back from civil war on down :D

    actually that stone tool you found in the beginning of the video was one of the blades from an indian torture table they wood have a wood bed frame and there would be hundreds of those blades glued into the wood and they wood have the prisoners lay down on it and be weighed down by rocks tied to the ankles.

    I am fairly new here and enjoying all of your videos, they are really so interesting. I do have a couple of questions first, I noticed that you talk a lot about finding oyster shells, my question is why are they there and how did they get there?     Hi Aqua Chigger! Rhonda from Oregon! I have been metal detecting for about 3 years now and have been watching your videos from day 1. I only have the ace 250 and the black Garrett pin pointer which isn’t waterproof. I have a question? I have seen a few people waterproof their pointers but don’t know what they use to do it. Any suggestions? Btw....Love the variety of your channel! Thanks for keeping me interested in the hobby. I have found a few cool things over the past few years like silver and gold but not very often. Love the video of the old silver board found in the river! A dream find for any detectoris! HH

    I've been binge watching today. I notice you talk about oyster shells in a few of the video's. Can you tell me what significance the shells make when targeting a site?     How is that oyster shells are often found laying out on top of the ground but artifacts are found beneath the ground? Is it just to do with weight? Tia Steven.
