I love the Oregon mulching blade, fantastic bit of kit. I use it on my Husky 535LK pro combi and not much gets in it's way, if something does, I just switch heads to the clearing saw or pole saw, takes about 4 seconds! 👍

Hi Chris. The Oregon mulching blade is indeed a beast and eats everything in site. Compared to using the strimmer even with Oregon high grade line it wins hands down as you don’t need to stop every half hour to refill the head. Apart from the need to be very aware of using all the PPE, it saves so much time compared to conventional strimming/brush cutting. I used mine for a couple of hours this week clearing nettles, docks, elder and bramble round a range of farm buildings for one of my garden customers and all chopped to a fine mulch. The blade is pretty well ‘challenged’ as farmers have a habit of leaving lumps of concrete, bit of plough and various other bits of metal hidden in the undergrowth just to challenge you but I’ll soon clean it up with the angle grinder tomorrow. Don’t know what you were on today, but I’ll have a couple of bottles please!

Maybe not suitable for you but a 3t min dig would be a great job in there for an hour or two. Save a lot of hard work. I have one and I took out 40 meters of mature hedging and levelled the soil in under an hour. Good video Chris and love that mulching blade
