Been all round the island playing golf and drinking im some of the pubs. Nice to see it from a different perspective and such an entertaining video ss well. The view from up high on the golf course at Blackwaterfoot is stunning. Such as shame you werent able to walk the north west side of the island. Great stuff ..keep on dancing ..
I see arran every day from my window. Was over three times last year and walked goatfell twice . I had to turn back the third time and thought that would be my last attempt. I've since found out that the reason i couldnt make it was because i need a quadruple bypass operation which was done a month ago after six weeks in hospital. My van is now waiting to have some work done on it and with a bit of luck I'll go over there once more before this year ends. I love the place . The whole pace of life and the world slows down as soon as i set foot on the island. Enjoyed seeing the three of u visit some of the places where i have been many times.
I really hope you have a speedy recovery and you get to travel across again soon x we had a wonderful time on the island, I’m so glad the video bought back some nice memories for you 🤗
Fabulous, well done all. Brought back some lovely memories - I loved Blackwaterfoot and some not so good. I nearly had a meltdown scrambling over those rocks after Lochranza hostel. The next time I went, I took the high path but it was so midge infested 😬 as was the campsite when I got there. All good fun. Shame you missed the Machrie stone circle - it had a very definite eerie feel to it. Didnt stay there long.

Hi kerry, really enjoyed watching another of your videos., but I gotta say, I have never ever seen anyone with as much kit on the outside of their pack than Claire. My god I can see the tent and what looks like the sleeping bag on the outside, makes me wonder just what she has on the inside. Good job it didn't rain much and that sleeping bag get wet
Love your videos Kerry... Well done tbh that did look a tough hike at parts. What about the West Island way.. it's a small hike round the isle of Bute can be done max 3days. Would love to see you do the West Highland way again since you had to do it in two parts before. It's just the best hike.

🙈 it was our own fault, we knew high tide was coming in the morning and had set our alarms .. but we checked too early and it looked fine so went back to bed … luckily the water only creeped up slowly so we were able to move our tents out the way and pack down in time

It's a dilemma when you're tired and don't know the area... do you keep walking to find a better spot and risk losing the light or stay in the okay one you already found? The general rule is once you pack up and start walking the next day you'll find there was a perfect pitch just a few minutes further on... like if you want a rest, you sit down on the grass then start walking and find a bench just a few minutes further on!
Pity about the washed out day but at least you got to recharge. Beautiful scenery and a great hike. Way to go Steve!!!

Although we only did one night,Bute is a decent wander,camped by an abandoned monastery in the south,eerie
