Hello, I am reading Hosea right now and I was confused if it was God speaking or Hosea speaking. This feels like a book I need to read in chunks instead of a chapter a day so I do not forget. This helped out a lot though. Thank you very much. Below are my notes I will add as a comment in my Bible app and eventually will write in my physical Bible. God bless from Michigan!
Hosea 2:23
Connection to new church in New Testament
-Matthew 21:43
-Roman’s 9:25-26 (Paul quotes what was said in Hosea) talking about how God raised a new church
-1 Peter 2:9-10 once again emphasizing Hosea’s words and how God used Hosea to preach Gods Kingdom. Hosea probably had no clue what God was talking about but still preached the word he was given.
