    Why try to clone the EIS instead of just unsoldering the broken mechanics and resolder back the mechanical stuff from the donor EIS to the customer's board?

    • @mercedesbenzspecialist
      @mercedesbenzspecialist Před 8 měsíci

      Repairing circuit boards is not what we specialize in. It takes much less time and effort to clone an EIS than repair it. If you would rather repair your EIS than have it cloned, and you have the tools and skills to do so... that's a matter of preference.

    thanks for the video, when you change the password and program a new key, does that mean that the ESL needs to be reprogrammed or is it not affected?

    • @mercedesbenzspecialist
      @mercedesbenzspecialist Před 5 měsíci

      In the w204 model yes the ESL must use the same key password as the EIS and key. We would reprogram the ESL or program an ESL emulator to replace the factory ESL as it will surely fail in the future.

    hello i have another problem with my eis and i don't find anything on internet the second position is very hard to turn but work always do you think i can open my eis to see what is blocking ?

    • @mercedesbenzspecialist

      If you feel confident enough to be able to open it up and attempt to repair it. I would highly recommend saving the data before opening it up. You need specialized tools to save that data.

    Is it true that arbites came up with solution for fbs4?

    • @mercedesbenzspecialist
      @mercedesbenzspecialist Před 8 měsíci +1

      Not for most modules. The only FBS4 modules that Abrites has a solution for is ECM, TCM, and DSM modules. There is still no solution for EIS and key programming.

    Hi there.
    So... i bought an chinese start/stop sistem remote keyless entry to instal in my w212 from 2012.
    In instalation book it says after soldering all wires on EIS, dont turn the key in EIS. Offcourse i was stupid and i turned without realising.
    Now, the car not start. I get the lights in dashboard, i can go to posiyion 2 on EIS, but when to position 3, car not start.
    What can be done or what was happening inside when i turn the key inyo ignition after soldering the wires on EIS motherboard?
    Could that can be cloned now?
    Any sugestion of how can i revive the EIS without computer and programs and codings?
    Best regards.

      Soldering on the EIS board is risky. I ALWAYS save the EIS data before I open it up.
      I'm guessing something was shorted during the soldering process.
      Yes I can clone your EIS. Even if I can't get the data from your EIS I can get it from the ECM.
      Does you EIS have a white sticker on the back? If so, are the letters "FBS4" present? If that's the case.... your really screwed.

      @@mercedesbenzspecialist Hi, thank you for reply.
      Mine is FSB3 (A2129055800).
      As i said i dont have any method or tools to save any data before soldering. On tester i have something like "input circuit 50 - no" and "output circuit 50 - no"

    • @mercedesbenzspecialist
      @mercedesbenzspecialist Před rokem

      @djovidius3545 I figured you didn't have the tools to save the data. For others who are reading this... if you can't save the data, don't open it up, don't risk soldering and losing all your data. Things get more expensive if your EIS needs to be cloned to another EIS.
      Ok good FBS3 I can work with. If you want my help. Send me a text message or call me.

    Hello sir Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Did you calculate a new password when making the key and emulator or did you use the same one from donor?

    • @mercedesbenzspecialist
      @mercedesbenzspecialist Před rokem

      You can use the same one from donor. Or make up your own. It doesn’t matter. As long as the key and EIS share the same key password.
