Riots have happened before I recall the Toxteth riots 1981, which I think happened elsewhere too, those were big riots but this feels as if it might well continue as the triggering events are still provoking a response.
The most problematic issue is that we let illegal migrants or asylum seekers into the country, house them and let them go through the process. Im not saying they havent the right to go through an asylum process but we should not let them in at the border. That would mean facilities at the border. And migrants not claiming asylum without passports should be turned down in any case. We just invite all subsequent problems by the current system. Migrants or turned down asylum seekers know that there is always the option of going underground and likely have connections in place. Because those that come to Europe clearly have the money to jump the system. The really poor ones have no chance.
