One thing to consider is the most common view angle of a person viewing the siding. When you come out of a door, for example, lap the joints away from yourself do they are invisible.. Customer will appreciate it if you discuss it with them.

I like to hang the second course of siding with a laser line first and hook short pieces of siding into it to locate the starter strip. By hanging the starter from the short pieces, they will act like a third hand They will slide right along and make it easy for you
I hate to see installers take the cut piece from one end and use it to start the next course and do on. A regular occurrence of a uniform stair step looks amateur. They need to be somewhat random. I try also to minimize waste by managing pieces around windows and doors. A bit of planning as waste develops works wonders
Working alone is easy enough on one story projects but up high on windy days required help
These comments are for the rest of us and not to denigrate workmanship of this installation

If you nailed through that top piece of siding it's prolly gonna buckle the crimpers and finish trim let it expand and contract it's a lighter color and under the overhang but still taking a big chance there. Also on the top of those eves you'd be better centering 1 nail. It's crazy how much that stuff moves. I really enjoy your videos I'm curious why you work alone.

I agree about the top pan, but they tend to fall off when I use the crimpers, so I just nail em…haven’t had an issue yet.

Great job, I really enjoy your videos. I'm trying to build a 24x30 garage with my father in law, and your video on a similar design has been helpful. We have a loft on top of the garage, so that's been challenging. Got the subfloor and walls up for the second floor, but due to unevenness in the concrete slab, everything north is uneven and difficult to manage. We will attempt to put 2x10 rafters up for the roof. To prevent wall spread, will probably tie in every other one, which will annoy tall people because the walls are only 6'3" high. But it's for my kids, so what do you do.

Love your snarky sarcastic dialog, but you shouldn't apologize for how you do things, most of us know there are many ways to do the same things. Thanks for the entertainment

Just found your channel tonight, I'm a pretty good Carpenter but I hadn't put up. I was hoping to see the way you did those butt and cuts in the middle of the walls with that gray siding. Perhaps you can put out a 5 or 10 minute video. I saw what was on your arm Ephesians, I haven't marked in my Bible. From where my son market when he was studying to be a pastor. Ephesians 6 :10- through 17
