He’s not mobile but all of his attributes are better than DC gave us. We got our QB forget about the noise. Barring injury AOC will put up more yards this year than Carr has ever had.

He will learn those things in due time, he was good at throwing the football away when pressured in college. Did he have 1 fumble? I'm trying to remember. I remember he had one that was ruled an incomplete forward pass, after initially ruled a fumble. I only remember one actual fumble.

I believe in this kid. He's overcome so much to find himself where he is, and he has learned so many valuable things that are crucial to success as an NFL QB. He's worked hard, kept his chin up, and persevered when things didn't go his way. He's taken note of his weaknesses and put in the work to get better. You'd hate to see him not succeed after having beaten the odds as he has so far.

The fact he came out a better person and player from last season and being thrown in the fire after having to deal with a clown of a coach in McDumbass excites me to see what he can do with a consistent HC and time to mesh with his weapons. I believe he’ll have something Carr never had which is consistency. Sounds like a QB that can lead a winning team.

I’m excited for this season! I think O’Connell can do something special! I know it’s just practice, but in the videos from OTA’s his accuracy was pinpoint every single time.

If you’re not behind this kid playing and being successful, you’re missing some very basics of being a Raiders fan.
All of our successful QBs overcame a ton of adversity in their football lives and earned everything they received. He’s already passed certain lessons most young QBs take much longer to.
So let’s let it play out and see where he lands. Minshew same thing. Very Gannon like in many ways. Would play better than his teams starters who those teams had invested a ton of assets into. So he’s had to move on for an opportunity to start.
So let these guys fight it out and see where they land. Good bet there’s a great script written for one of their careers.
Minshew didn't move on for an opportunity to start, he got paid a lot of money as a backup in case Aidan doesn't work out, which is unlikely. Now he can buy a new van to live down by the river. (Chris Farley reference)

I appreciate AOC humbleness and his calm, relaxed approach to the game and the fact that he feels that he wasn't suppose to make it. But at some point his going to have to develop that Kobe, MJ mentality. As well as being able to channel pressure and urgency on the football field when the game is on the line. I believe in AOC12 but his success will be determined if his able to have that switch. LFG!!! RN4L!

Since Brady is a minority owner of the raiders hopefully Brady has practice sessions with AOC and teaches him a lot. That would help AOC a lot.

I hope Brady has been doing this since last year, but it sounds like it doesnt even exist since AOC said hes only had a couple chances to talk to Brady. Not a Brady fan for obvious reasons but Brady needs to reach out to a big part of what his investment relies on and make it better. But maybe Brady knows AOC wont be the one for much longer. May the best man win the QB battle. If Guard Dogs only a little better than AOC after this battle, I say we go AOC if we think theres even a chance he can be our future, if he potentially has what it takes.
