Thank you so much to everyone who corrected my mistake on Pivoine Suzhou! I was mistaken about it being Japanese (why I didn’t double check is beyond me) but I always truly appreciate whenever you all take your time to correct me and hold my mistakes accountable!
I want to thank you for what you said about how people collect or appreciate scent. To what amounts or to what sizes a fragrance lover is able to collect should not validate their experience. I recently was watching another YT' er when suddenly I felt "lesser than" because I don't own an extensive collection or large size full bottles. Yet, I am a serious and appreciative person of scent and what scent can trigger in the memory; even if it is just a sample or smaller size that's all I can afford.However the scent memories are there for my experience regardless if it's just a waft or a 5ml sample versus a splurge or an investment 30 or 50ml bottle. Which is why I gravitate to your channel and respect you. I Truly respect your reviews.

I felt hurt by the idea, or the concept of size qualified me as a lover of fragrance.

Love Rose D'Arabie, my first Armani Prive. I look forward to add more to my collection. If more expensive/niche perfumes are not at somebody's budget, a VERY good alternative for a designer rose oud combo is Versace Pour Femme Oud Oriental. A bit different from Rose D'Arabie, but very beautiful, compliment getter, amazing sillage for a designer and good projection.
By the way, Suzhou is a popular city in China, known for its gardens and peony is symbolic flower in China. Not Japanese.

I’m wearing my sample of vert malachite today and it’s a love. It reminds me of killian love the way you feel. Rouge malachite was already on my to get list and this just got written down as well. Maybe it’ll be a cute Christmas themed gift for myself red and green ❤️💚 hehe
I prefer rouge over vert. 😁. Rose d’ Arabie is great. I gifted this one to my husband.

I believe Pivoine Suzhou was inspired by China not Japan. 😉

So far, I have 9 bottles plus 30ml decanted of the discontinued Cedre Olympe and about another 20ml of Myhrre Imperial from the dabbers that Bloomies gave me when they messed up my order on a full bottle of it and haven't got it back in stock. Overall, Ambre Eccentrico is my favorite lasting 12+ hours on my skin...not as long as MFK Gran Soir but that comes off my skin too medicinal for me to enjoy wearing it.

I only own three, rouge malachite, pivoine Suzhou limited edition and Figuier eden and absolutely love them all. I also would like vert malachite and rose d'arabie 😌
So very excited for this video! One of my favorite private lines. I have rouge malachite, jasmin kusamano and pivione szhu. Rose d’arabie in oil form. Didn’t care for Vert malachite. It was too harsh on me.

Really helpful video, I was considering buying more from the Armani Prive collection, right now I only have the 250ml Rose D'Arabie bottle because I love it so much. I was interested in finding out more about the Rose Milano fragrance if you haven't reviewed that I would be interested to know how it is compared to Rose Alexandria. Also if you haven't already made a video on layering perfume, it would be helpful to know generally what kind of perfumes go well together.

Hi Kristin, I adore Armani Privè line. I only own 2 fragrances from the house, but I want to buy more in the near future. I've heard they will discontinue Ambre Eccentrico which I love😍 but don't quote me on that. Amethyst is really intense...There is a new beautiful fragrance called Gardenia Antigua that I like a lot, very suitable for spring and summer.
Do you know if Eccentrico got discontinued?
@@nathand.384 When I looked for it at Nordstrom the seller said it got discontinued, but not sure. It's very hard to find it on physical stores; however, I have seen it on Armani website from time to time. 🤷♀️

I just found your channel and am enjoying myself :) you are easy to understand and don't go off on long tangents. Btw, do you have any opinions on DS and Durga perfumes? The videos of their fragrances here on youtube seem to be on the same ones most of the time. I am in particular looking for fresh, light, dry scents from the brand (or any others too). Not fruity, heady, oriental.
Have you tried Musc Shamal? I can't find alot of reviews on it, just one actually.
Have you tried the Bleu Turquoise and Bleu Lazuli? I am particularly curious about the Bleu Turquoise... I have Vert and Rouge Malachite and the pink Nacre LE version of the Pivoine Suzhou... love them all ❤️

Rouge and Vert Malachite are both out for me because they are gardenia bombs and I have never appreciated gardenia. The only one I have is Bleu Lazuli- do you hate it? I love it- plum-tobacco... I sampled Rose d’Arabie and I do love that now, hopefully I will get it eventually.

Hi Kristin. I just bought Bleu Lazuli from Holt Renfrew and it came with the monochromatic blue name plaque on the bottle with gold text. I have seen other bottles of Bleu Lazili with a gold name plaque. Do you know which bottle is the newer design, the blue plaque or the gold plaque?

Beauty Meow, I'm surprised you don't have or never mention Myrrh Imperial. It's a beauty but unfortunately, I'm hearing it's being discontinued....grab a bottle quick.
In other news, some are reporting that Rose D'Arabie has been reformulated and is no longer using the beautiful Damascus Rose :( Have you heard or experienced this?
A staff member of Bloomies also told me she thinks MI might be discontinued, but it did just came back in stock on the Armani site having been out for a while.
I REALLY want it but Myrrh is something that my husband has real issues with! However I have considered getting it and just wearing it when he is out of town!

I just got a Rouge Malachite in the mail from a mercari seller and I’m not sure what to do... Its batch code is from before the first launch (maybe it was the first run even), if it’s even legit. What would you recommend checking for, for authenticity? The listing was so poor it even shows a different version of the bottle from what I received.. not happy but now that it’s discontinued I can hardly find it anywhere.
For the record I have sampled it so I know what it should smell like. I’m just wondering if I should even open it given the age and version issues I already noticed.
How does rose Alexandrie compared to MFK ala rose or l’eau a la rose???
I think it is slightly and I mean slightly more watery

Not similar at all.... Rose Alexandrie has a vintage feel .. a dusty rose. Mfk's are jammy, sweet ,light ...
