Question - when hardwired without factory adapter I cannot access the parking mode settings in the app - will this adapter let me access this? Also - do you know offhand which one is for a Toyota Highlander Hybrid 2021
Hi Robin! Nope the adapter will not enable parking mode. I placed a link to the Toyota adapters in the video description, the Highlander is likely a 5 or 7 pins one. Which one would I use for a 2010 jeep compass? Having a hard time locating one.
Hi Zim! Typically Jeeps use the Dodge or the Mopar one (I placed links to both in the video description). Your installer can determine which one will be needed by comparing the connector on your car to the pictures of the adapter. Alternatively, the "Universal" Adapter could be used as well but it does require your installer to identify the power wires on your mirror to be able to tap them. I placed the link to the Universal one in the video description as well if needed. Cheers!

The Dodge is available, I just checked, the Mopar one seems to be out of stock but I noticed that happens often, they get a few in and the sell out quick (not sure if they quantities are small or there is just that much demand for them) So I would recommend to keep checking if you need the Mopar instead of the Dodge one. I have a problem. Fuse tap needs to be installed in correct orientation, in my case with wire pointing up. But only fuses available are on top row against fuse box casing so it cannot plug in. Any ideas?
Hi! Ah correct, if hardwiring using fuse taps they do have only one correct orientation as explained on my video here czcams.com/video/K2iKXj82354/video.html And yes in a few cases the fuse taps may conflict with the fuse box cover or fuse box box itself, you can actually see that on my other install video here czcams.com/video/uZp95NbNlmM/video.html where the fuse cover had to left off. And on here czcams.com/video/zbxYA4VhuT8/video.html where I had to shave each end of the plastic edges to get the fuse tap tp fit, you can actually see how the fuse taps have been modified (ends shaved off, which I hid with some electrical tape lol) Cheers!

The Wolfbox G900 uses a USB C connector as shown on my full review here czcams.com/video/eNK6ujrWWkA/video.html While there are adapters out there that go from Mini USB to USB C like this one amzn.to/47aAaQa I personally would not recommend attempting to use one with the G900 to avoid potential damage, I recommend using the power adapter included with the G900 or the matching hardwire kit, here is the video for that kit czcams.com/video/0KwoF1ZVnsc/video.html Cheers!

Yeah there is currently no adapter for the Tesla Model Y, however the universal adapter can potentially be used (assuming the Tesla is able to supply 12VDC) while I know some installers have located 12VDC, I imagine the key is going to be on selecting a circuit that is not impacted by tapping from it. Sadly my car is 23 year old so I'm stuck with the OBD power plug. Its not so bad since I only have to unplug once a year when I get my smog test done. But my wife car uses Dongar so easy to set up.
Hi! Ah yes I have a similar setup like that where I use the OBD2 adapter on one car and on another the Mirror Power Adapter. Here is the video on the OBD2 adapter czcams.com/video/YEklm9V6xYE/video.html which does have the advantage of allowing monitoring the car while parked where on the power mirror adapter that option will only work if the car provides power to the mirror all the time.
