Yes! I love how the city combines antiquities with modern, everyday life ❤️
That stone work outdoors is incredible isn't it?! We paid over $15K to put new tyle in our bathroom and new shower; I can't imagine what that cost!
It sure is! I just can’t believe I’m walking on marble streets like it’s no big deal, lol! I feel you regarding the tile - I remember picking countertops for our house and the marble options were definitely an upgrade for a hefty fee 😅

I want to travel to Athens so bad. Hopefully by the end of the year. Those train tickets from the airport to town are very cheap. Not bad at all. & Can’t wait for the room tour. Looks like a lovely room from the sneak peak of it. Turning on your notifications so I don’t miss it. 😃

Yes, we did! We found it easy to walk around, great food, nice people who are direct yet friendly. It looks a lot more “edgy” than it is. Any plans for a trip?

@coolguyt657 it LOOKS edgy, as in the appearance - not the actual feeling of being safe. The city has been around for a looooonggg time, so you have ancient ruins and old structures from throughout the centuries. Ancient buildings + graffiti + narrow dimly lit alleyways make it look edgy, but the people we met were friendly, personable, and straight forward. We felt safe walking in the city and would def go back. We liked the city 😊
