I’m going to be using WediBoard for a similar smaller table. Do I not need to seal the edges of the WediBoard as I’ve seen in other videos? Thanks!!
Weldbond ONLY interior, exterior you must use thin set mortar or silione. For inteior Wedi surface I would paint the edges the same color as my grout. Check out our video about lightweight substrates to learn why that is ok to do. czcams.com/video/oKaVqfqS3sc/video.html

Hi, thanks for the video! I am having trouble finding small amounts of Wedi board in my area. Is GoBoard a similar product? Are you using half inch or quarter inch substrate? What size screws and washers are you using? Thanks!

Wondering if it might be possible to glue in the Wedi board with some kind of heavy duty construction glue instead of using screws?
Yes, you could use some sort of construction adhesive, just that then you can probably can not remove the mosaic in the future without damaging it. But certainly easier - for me it is about calculating the right number of washers (or shims) so the tiles are flush to the edge. Good lukc! Thanks for being a fan.
Can you do something like this video on a large table that is glass.
That would be a glass-on-glass application so would use different adhesives: silicone, MAC glue or E-6000. This video may clarify adhesive options: czcams.com/video/IQrQxSginUg/video.html
Why did you use the film? How did you grout with the film over tiles?
When you buy those vitreous glass tiles they arrive "face taped" (this helps prevent breaking in shipping), As Kim shows in the video you can leave the face tape on if your design calls for consistent lines like the design in the video. She removed the tape after the mortar had cured and before grouting, we show this at approximately 10:10. Great project!
