I've seen this video three times already. It makes me cry. It is not its beautiful photography nor its impeccable narrative. It is the capturing of the mere essence of human spirit and its goodness. Yes, there is still good people out there, who are willing to make a difference. I am an off road enthusiast just like many of the people who follow you, but you have managed to make this about amore than all terrain vehicles, it is about all terrain spirits who can go far beyond their vehicles. Congratulations gentlemen! Keep up the good work, hopefully you will inspire many people.
Team 5 are an inspiration. What a heart warming story. We are so used to river crossings, mountain climbs, camp food, that this episode is beyond belief. God bless to the whole crew for making this possible, and the young girl and her family.
I have been binge watching this series and I have to say I am impressed. Acts of kindness go a long way. I am a Jeep lover myself and to see these vehicles make it on such a long and winding journey is impressive. If I had the chance to go on a trip like this I would take it no questions asked. You are bringing out the adventurer in me and it's awesome!

You guys are really taking it to another level with this season! I can find thousands of videos with trucks plowing along trails all over the world, but to capture the essence of a region's people, culture, and lifestyle as you travel is a unique talent. Looking forward to the rest of the season! I for one, enjoy getting to see more than just the trucks bouncing around all 30 minutes, and its awesome to really get a feel for the places you visit, the people, and that experiences that overland travel affords you.

Kurt Williams Based on that definition, you're absolutely correct. Perhaps the series should follow the definition more closely and stop for "extended lengths of time (months to years) and spanning international boundaries." I think season 1 set me up for false expectations.

"spanning international boundaries." - again Check, we crossed international borders over a dozen times on this trip requiring temporary vehicle imports, customs permits, immigration, fumigation processes, etc. As "overlanding" gets more popular, the definition continues to get broader and often each user will have his/her own way to describe it. All that aside this trip and the greater Expedition Overland mission absolutely fits the industry definition of overlanding.
