@andysouwerdotcom That's really sad, I've been a big fan ever since I saw his 2006 performance in MAX; though he lost to Bua Kaw in the finals, his fight against Masato is the best K1 fight ever, not just in MAX.
@Raiton45 MMA striking will surely get better as the sport progresses..But what he said still holds true... Someone who spends all their time and effort training striking will generally always beat someone who has to split their time training multiple things in a pure striking match..I respect the ground game[ and have been doing it for many years] but to me top level elite strikers are just the more impressive and entertaining to watch... Whether that be Mayweather/Pacquiao/Souwer/Petrosyan etc
@Blahb27 Petrosyan actullay fought yesterday[ with a still injured hand] against the thai standout sudsakorn..It was a good fight. And the video should be out soon..Assuming his hand holds up he has cosmo alexandre in march and then mabel in may[ Complete Mismatch!!] and then hopefully we will see souwer vs petrosyan in the showtime tournament in july when they are both fresh[ first round] That is if petrosyans hand holds up..as he stated in his interview yesterday that it is still hurting him.
And thats absolute bullshit that souwer and buakaw were not invited.... Wtf they are k1 legends and dont deserve to be disrespected like that... I am sure that Andy wants to get a rematch vs Petrsyan and thats ridiculous that they didnt invite him back.. Hopefully Andy and Buakaw will come back next year and dominate!

Hinata did not beat Zambidis, he only kicks about 4-5 times to Zambidis groins and referee did count last kick to 8. This kind of choke fits only to Hinata because he dont care about rules. Usually choke tecnicks belong to mma, jujitsu, judo and etc.
