Borobudur Temple is a building belonging to the Sriwijaya Kingdom
Borobudur Temple is a relic of the Syailendra Dynasty of the Sriwijaya Kingdom which became King and ruler of the Medang Kingdom / Ancient Mataram Kingdom (the most powerful kingdom on the island of Java at that time) because the Sriwijaya kingdom had expanded its territory and succeeded in ruling in Java.
The construction of Borobudur Temple by the Syailendra Dynasty of the Sriwijaya Kingdom and the King and ruler of the Medang Kingdom using Sriwijaya Architects (Sriwijaya building style can be characterized by the presence of terraced stairs, multi-storey buildings and terraces, the shape of the Borobudur temple is rectangular in shape and the pattern and size is wide and wide, the existence of the building in the form of stupa dome, this feature can be seen in the Sriwijaya kingdom Buddhist temple complex in Jambi). The construction involved masons and temple construction experts/architects from the Medang Kingdom (can be seen from the building materials made of natural stone (andesite stone), stone carvings, paintings about royal life on the temple walls, the building area is generally square and patterned like the Medang Hindu temple building. and temples of other Hindu kingdoms in Sunda and Java).
SriwiJAWA was a vassal state of Medang Kingdom. How come SriwiJAWA build borobudur? They can't even make their own writing system/aksara. And if you see on the inscriptions in Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines, the inscriptions mentioned about java and Medang.

Yes there is no jain today but earlier Indonesia known as swarnadweep and about before 9th century jain also exist there due to 3 reason
1.Bhagwan Mahavira gives divya dhwani (Knowledge) here
2.Samprati Maurya a jain king also spread Jainism in South East india

Bcz buddha wear clothes and most of the statue does not have cloth
But this temple was later captured and converted as Buddhist temple now there are very few but dominated proof to prove that this it is a jain temple
