For some reason that 60s tractor is giving me this very slight sensation of nostalgia. I think it is because agriculture around these parts began to die out in the 60s, and as such most local photos of tractors contain models like that.
9:17 This set is a first idea, of the later, under the real licensed name produced set „Claas Xerion“
I have the big blue one from 1981! And this green one from 2006!
i had the first combine harvester... just gotta rebuild it and buy some of those poles
Hey same here… I miss that set
2:24 most people probebly got this already but but just too clear up the tractor is Massy-Fergusson 135.
Oh I just posted a comment saying that but yep you beat me to it by a month
5:04 this was my first lego set
i think you forgot one, there is a corn chopper in the Lego City Harvester Transporter set from 2018-19
You're absolutely right. I discovered that one yesterday. Might have to do another video lol
@@3dbrickworld749 can you do one on 18 wheelers
@@3dbrickworld749 TOU FORGOT 42054 TOO. IT CAME OUT IN 2016. and 8274
@@3dbrickworld749 you forgot the massive lego technic claas xerion
Chopper, not a TRACTOR
lets be honest with ourselves 2009 farm was peak performance
Well yea, because the main Lego city theme was farm
W
Great video, please do a follow up.
You missed:
6524: Blizzard Blazer
6603: Shovel Truck
42054: CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC VC
42102: Mini CLAAS XERION
8260: Tractor
8281: Mini Tractor
60287: Tractor
And some harvesters
8274: Combine Harvester
60223: Harvester Transport
42080: Forest Harvester
8862: Backhoe Grader (Alternative build)
Thanks for the list! Most of those are going to be in the follow-up (the focus is specifically on farm equipment). I'm working on a different video at the moment, but that one will be coming later.
What about 8457 Power Poller?
@@maglekaer1 You could certainly call it a "tractor", but a vehicle like that probably wouldn't be used on a farm.
I remember that 8260 Tractor set, got it for christmas like 10 years ago. A shame that one of the bucket's connectors got brittle enough to snap while attaching one day.
Some of these I had as a kid, nostalgia!
2:28 - I had this one as a kid - Massey Ferguson 135 or 165 maybe. I have a real 165 now I’ve just finished restoring - always wanted one after having this lego so long ago. 😊👍
Lego should’ve done more farm and animal themed sets.
Definitely! I mean.... only 35 sets (approximately) over 57 years... that's kinda sad. Hopefully we'll get more in the future now that Lego is releasing ~800 sets each year.
@@3dbrickworld749 nah, we are getting star wars battle packs and fricken Mario
Lego in 2009 be like: HOWDY FOLKS WANNA SEE MAH NEW TRACTOR
yes
5:10 I had this tracktor when I was five years old.
Intro made me wanting to watch this from my old crt tv :>
Thanks for video!
I just noticed that some of these are CGI, looks real.
Which ones?
Actually they are all CGI!
@@3dbrickworld749 REALY WOW I AM SHOCKED. What software are you using?
@@legobrickabrac Bricklink Studio and Blender
@@3dbrickworld749 Ahhh blender is why it looks so real. I'll have to do load these. Do you own any real lego?
The farm brick box was my first set I got it when I was 5
Me too!
5:47 this includes also a farm with the tractors
More videos like this please, lego history is interesting
Lego made 2 sets called "Farm" in 2009.
Hey, you forgot the Claas Xerion and a mini technic one, a 8260
That 2006 yr model dune buggy tractor probably one of the most good looking technic set built in its year
Reeeaaally wish I had gotten that Combine Harvester Transporter set from a few years back before it was discontinued. Because I have they newer red tractor and their now releasing so many farm, Animal, and nature themed sets.
Also, wouldn't it be cool if they someday released another limited edition Cargo Train set like the Red on from 2012 and it included a little old fashioned orange tractor with catapiller treads and a semi oval shaped front end as a little nod and reference another piece of childhood nostalgia? Man, that would be perfect.
So goooooooooooood a truck
AND tractor
Nice!
Sure takes me back.
I'm from '72
🔆
My favourite was the “1978 farm tractor”
The design of a Massey Ferguson
Yeah that is really a beautiful model.
Did the Massey ferguson ever come out I can’t find anywhere on the internet to buy one?
i think its based on a Massey 135
I’m sooo happy you called it an auger ,some people call it a pipe (I’m a farmer)
Same well I'm 10 but I'm a big help to my dad and I can plant beans and corn I can drive tractors and trucks
@@cayden277 we plant sunflower
Noise:)
I dont collect or build Lego gut this was very interesting to see, thanks.
Hi You have a dine Emansing job with this Video man. Crazy Goood 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🎬I Like it
I have the 2009 tractor, great little model that one.
First Combine Harvester was in 1989 with set 8862. It was second to the Backhoe.
Also the 1986 "Tractor" (set 8849) should have stated it featured a rotating PTO shaft driven from the rear wheel.
The backhoe was a cool design. Had the pneumatic pump and actuators. The combine was pretty cool, just wished it would have been more finished-not just a skeleton.
Where is the big class xerion
I miss when lego used to make good framing equipent moddels , now its all just jhon deere
2009"Tractor" I have it at home 😝
Witch one
He was talking about the polybag set or the big red tractor with the enclosed cabin
Rototillers are for breaking up hard soil pulling rocks from the soil
Wind rowers are for drying hay
9:30
"Based on a 1951 Ferguson tractor"
This is actually true, because the tractor in question is a 1951 Ferguson TE20, a UK farming vehicle that was basically the grandfather of MF Tractors (Massey Ferguson Inc.)
And the "Danish ring roller" is probably a refrence to the danish company Dalbo. Dalbos HQ is located 5km away from LEGOLAND and they have produced ringrollers since the 1950s and they are amoung the 3 biggest producers of ringrollers today
i love this video, congretulations
🙏tanks
One important feature of the 1975 tractor of the gear farm set (I had back then) was the steering of the front axle
Definitely. I love having an audience with so much attention to detail!!!!!
U missed a micro technic one from 2010 i think AND THE CLAAS XERION MY FAV SET THAT I OWN 🤣🤣
Yup. I'm considering doing another video that includes the sets I missed in this one. There seems to be a lot of interest for that!
@@3dbrickworld749 Yes do it immediately! Edit this vid, no need to make new.
@@SergeyPRKL I'd love to, unfortunately CZcams doesn't let you change a video that's already uploaded. The only option is to create another one
Nice one
I wish I could afford the Ferguson Tractor. Maybe I can piece it together on Bricklink.
Can you show the building instructions for the red Tractor from 2009?
First video I've seen on this channel. What a great idea for creating youtube content, wish I'd thought of it.
YOU FORGOT THE 2016 42054 CLAAS XEROIN. AND 8274 combine harvester.
Very good move!
you missed the best technic tractor ever
42054
The green ones remind me of Deutz-Fahr and CLAAS.
you missed out on a few lego techinc sets related to farming stuff
In 2021 City has got a new version of farm tractor
I miss my lego technic tractor 2004
This 1982 tractor has been used in other sets as well. I remember assembling it for early 90s sets.
Part of the 4563 train set I believe; the one you put into a box for hauling.
@@dascandy YES! That's the one I had. Always had a blast building this set.
@@OscarScheepstra_Artemis_ If you still have it, the 9V engine block in it is worth gold now. As are the 9V rails.
The 1986 one... I actually have that and i also have the 2009 red one and the 2012 one
In 2013 there was a tractor in the town square set and it was a street sweeper
Might want to add the 8069, 8455 and 8862 A and B models.. which are all basically tractor loaders. Also the 8862 B is the first LEGO combine harvester if i'm not mistaken.
Good call, 8069 is a log loader I think. 8455 and 8862 are backhoes, plus the 8862 B-model is a harvester. In this video I tried to stay away from loaders and backhoes though, and just focus on farm tractors. Otherwise it would be too many sets lol. These take a really long time to model and animate
the video is beautiful, too bad there are no lego set numbers, at least in the cases you could find them
So Lego's farm equipment sets really were first steps for the brand? First use of clear pieces, first use of a minifigure, etc...
Mistake: the first Lego Technic tractor is the big blue one in 81.
I have a special version of that 2006 tractor with claas stickering made specifically for it, unfortunately its in pieces now but if I ever wanted to rebuild it, I can!
LEGO City Tractor 60287
The '78 Ferguson and the '81 Tractor are the best.
Missing the lego batman scarecrows harvester and the tractor in that set. Also Lego did make a forge harvester
Yup. Thanks for pointing that out! I might have to do another video with the sets I missed in this one; it's getting to be a long list!
Buen video 👌
Well damn the railroad tractor flatbed is looking good even in 1991
Can you please make a video about LEGO Technic John Deere 9620R 4WD Tractor (42136?
4:47 wrong head but dang, i love this vid!
I think that a lot are missing, but still great video
Glad you enjoyed it! I realized after I made this video that I did miss some of the tractor models. The list of sets I based this on came from a search on Brickset.com. Since then I've found some other ways to get better search results so hopefully my videos will be a bit more thorough in the future!
Cool video, but sometimes you have the wrong colours for the rubber tyres where you use the wrong material for the render.
You can see this most clearly at 3:47 in with the 1991 Railroad Tractor Flatbed where the front and rear tyres use two different materials, with the front tyres being too shiny.
I love the lego of the year 1981
Just me or is this channel really underrated i see youtubers with 100s of thousands of subscribers and dont put this much effort in keep up the amazing work bro 👏👍
Don't think much of the 1st 1, should = 4 wide around engine. Made it from picture in old book.
There is a new tractor now
Claas xerion 5000?
3D Brick World: 8:08
Husqvarna P524: am i a joke to you!?
I wish for an evolution of Lego construction models
Great idea! I might do that in the future.
i just found this comment again since i completely forgot about it
how about the claas xerion?
Not to be anoying just saying tedders are for drying grass to faster turn into hay
My grampa has some of these old early sets
I think I have some wheels from the 1963 farm tractor
Man LEGO had a farm fetish in 2009 or something
Just saying a backhoe is a type of tractor so lego was technically right.
why am i watching this at 4 am?
I will have you know the 1978 tractor set is based off of a Massey Ferguson 135
The 1978:Farm Tractor is modeled after a Massey Ferguson i see
Massey ferguson 135 to be exact
You forgot 1 tractor, the 3 and 1 tractor pull from the offroad burger truck
I have lego technic green traktor from year 2011 It v been my first lego technic
I ts nostalgia
At some point lego city sets became cheap to my eyes, they had a peak point on 2009 quality wise but a bit downfall from there
Hello! I’m new here and I just subbed! I don’t wanna sound weird and I’m not complaining, but 5:27 those are straw bales from a combine ;D
Also, I can help you next time maybe with the different machines, I love farm machines and Lego!
Thanks for the sub! And yeah you're probably right about the bales. Makes sense that they would be straw from the straw chopper. I'll be doing a follow-up video with the tractor sets I missed in this one, and I'd love to have some input from anyone who knows more about farm equipment! Most of my knowledge comes from playing Farming Simulator lol
This music is best
So, where's the 2016' CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC VC (42054) and mini CLAAS XERION (42102), 2016 and 2020 year of realise accordingly?
1972 Tractor - this is so anti-Lego. Can't make a duel arm mount for the plough, let's just create a unique piece.
I have the 1991 Traktor. is it worth something?
it's in good shape and condisjon.
If i look at the lego website i can find many more tractors than in the video. also i could not find the bugger, but there is a second version of the railroad tractor. only that one was road construction.
2009 tractor NOSTALGIA
I had the 2009 pig set
do the evolution of johndeere
Theres a motorised tracktor to its 42054
2:39 - I own that one and it shows everything wrong with early Lego Technic.
Anybody know how I can get the Ferguson tractor?
