While Aerith's Theme has an unforgettable melody, this is the one that settles somewhere deeper in your memory. You could put this on a loop all day every day. Like Tifa herself, it's a song to live with.

This channel is CRIMINALLY under-watched. By far the best pianist doing game/anime music on CZcams that I've seen, and I've been scouring for a long time.
I like all of your Final fantasy pieces. You play them perfectly, with no error and perfect sound quality. Your use of the foot pedal is perfect and at the right time. Your touches on the keys are delicate until force is necessary. I think you play the songs how Nobueu Uematsu meant them to be played...in a classical manner. Well done miss...hope to see more video game songs from you in the future.

And not to mention, she's playing on a beautiful Steinway and Sons grand piano. Not everyone has the opportunity to even play a Steinway or even have one in their own homes. Of course, you can be a professional pianist and still sound great on a mediocre piano but a nice piano will make the pieces you play sound even better. Great playing nonetheless! :)
As much as I love Aerith's theme, Tifa's theme just brings such a calming peace to me. What I really love about this performance is that she gives it the motion it needs at just the right moments to really make you feel this piece. Kara always puts forth her best interpretations of the music she shares and I always look forward to the next video she puts out. Thank you, Kara for sharing your passion with us!

I remember playing this game the very day it came out and not knowing what an JRPG was all about. I was bored to death after 15 minutes but somehow I kept on playing. Now I believe that I fell in love with this game at the moment I heard this melody. It was the first time I had some sort of deep emotion while playing a game. It became the most memorable game I played in my life.

Keep playing every day! A musician is someone who makes music every day, and you'll no doubt get better and better. Play lots of music, don't stick with one piece. Get a book of easy pieces and play all of them in a day. That's the best way to develop skill, musicality and appreciation :)

My fav from ffvii music is main theme. But I like this too, it has a gentle caring feel. I think Tifa is like mother/reliable big sister for the team.

The music is soft like a baby bird, but the nostalgia kicks hard like Tifa's punch. Whenever I listen to this song, the images of Cloud and Tifa sitting under the starry night pops up in my mind. Thank you for the beautiful music !

I just love this piece. This and Tatakau Monotachi are the most moving pieces of the whole ff7:ac collection (even though they inspire quite different feelings).
I also love how how Kara plays it. The warmth she puts in this piece is absolutely amazing.

While at this, have you ever tried some arrangement of Shiro Sagisu's "Going home"? It's for guitar but I guess it'd sound great on piano. It has a somehow similar feel to this tune.

I dnl and saved this video as an mP3 version and it has now replaced an older Tifa's theme mP3, which was an orchestrated version. Yes, your playing of Tifa's theme is so much better than a full orchestra. Thank you Kara.

I've only just stumbled upon you, on CZcams. I've been obsessed with the ff7 pieces since the game came out. I still play them, as best as I can, almost every day. I spent a little over 3 years constructing a ff7 medly which comprises of 7 pieces. I don't read or write music, so I've always played by ear and written it in my head lol but to hear you play so beautifully and seemingly effortlessly... I could never play with that level of perfection. Almost makes me envious. You are, in every manor of the word, beautiful. Thank you! Xxx

I like the sound tracks, but I also love the games although I haven't played most of them. I completed IX, but Final Fantasy 1 was my first! I'm currently an avid XIV player, and I'm almost finished with XV! But my first reason for posting these was because I love the music. I played Chrono Cross and Zelda (Loved both those games!), and have some nice arrangements of Chrono Cross music I'd like to get out here. Hey Drew thank you so much, wow! You are inspiring. I've been playing for 20 years, so I should have at least SOME skill haha.... I was raised on good music, piano lessons, and a dad who tunes and rebuilds pianos, so I really had a lot going for me growing up. I've been playing the piano for as long as I can remember, and I wouldn't give it up for anything. Do you also play the piano?
