My favorite line from Dotcom is when he says to Donaghy "Maybe someday, we'll live in a world where you ask us to pretend to be scientists."
He says that to Liz
@@mcnutty26 no he says that to Jack.
@@ashs8832 You are right. Liz is standing next to Jack. But Jack speaks to Dot Com and then Dot Com replies.
I came for the Warren Moon reference, but was waiting for the scientists line.
"I wanted for nothing as a child. But that brings it's own challenges--"
lmao
This reminds me of: "The pain of not having enough pain... Still pain, young man."
@@rampadmanabhan4258there is 30 rock/ community crossover!! Donald Glover was a writer on 30 Rock and guest starred at least twice! Liz also references him when jack mentions the “black kid on community” and liz says “Darnell Glover!” 😂😂😂
you missed a great one:
Jack: Grizz, Dotcom, thank you for pretending to be bouncers.
Dotcom: Maybe someday, we'll live in a world where you ask us to pretend to be scientists.
S04E13 "Anna Howard Shaw Day"
The Cornel West/Questlove part killed me ahahahaha 😂
They should have had him repeat one of his lines from the Matrix sequels.
You forgot the best one!
Tracy: Oh yeah, I forgot, Dot Com. You know everything about acting because you played a bird in some stupid school play. Ha!
Dot Com: Yes, Tracy, I was Trigorin in The Seagull on the Wesleyan Arts Base Main Stage.
indiciaobscure "I watched Dot com BECOME Trigorin"! 🤣🤣🤣
-Tracy Jordan
Tracy: I'm gonna laugh harder than I did at Dotcom's play!
DotCom: It was Angels in America, Tray!
A lesser show would have treated Grizz and Dot Com as extras but the fact that they're two of the best characters is what made 30Rock great
His character was so great and complex yet such a simple name lol
Dot Com is actually one of the most underrated characters on the show.
Dotcom would have fit in perfectly in black Frasier.
the show we deserved
Now that you mention it. Yes.
Grizz and Dotcom were one of the reasons I enjoyed 30 Rock so immensely!
This is an excellent compilation of Dotcom's small but insightful quips and I agree with the others who wish this included the "Maybe next time ask us to play scientist." line.
Well done!
citronm1 that scientist line was fucking hilarious
The introspective, wise hype squad was gold
applebottomjames g
He is right about Lincoln
The greatest trick the Republican party ever pulled
LITERALLY!!! And don’t get me wrong, I know it’s comedy, but it’s real funny how DotCom is being a “know it all” and yet Donoghy and any YT dude in a pickup does the same thing and they think nothing of it!!
Guh this was such a brilliant show
*Jack:* "I want new writers for Tracy, or he doesn't do the show. Grizz, Dot Com, start coming up with ideas."
*Dot Com:* _[Instantly without skipping a beat, Eagerly]_ "We open on a lone soldier walking through the desert. The year: 1861. The place... Mars!"
(it's basically a ripoff of John Carter of Mars)
Tracy calling Cornel West Questlove is one of my favorite moments
I've always had a huge crush on both Dot Com and Grizz. Never could have a preference - they're both such wonderful people.
He is really a fine actor!
Lol - “Sarcophagi.” Dot Com and Grizz are a huge (absolutely no pun intended) part of what puts “30 Rock” on my Top 10 Best Sit-Coms of All Time list.
Dot Com was one of my fave tertiary characters
I wish Grizz and Dotcom would get their own spinoff.
Grizz & Hers
Grizz found out his uncle left him a bed-and-breakfast outside Santa Fe, and Dot-Com agreed to go along. They're gonna be real fish out of water.
They only showed like 1/10 of a second of him getting hit with a baseball bat that makes it funnier..
His character was great in the pool of great characters. Thank you for making this!
Kevin "Dot Com" Brown would be on my list to go through in picking a running mate.
best line easily "this need you have to be the smartest person in the room is..... off-putting.
possibly my favorite 30 rock character (and that's some tough competition)
"I guess that's why I am still single." hahaha
Awesome compilation! I would have loved to see, "Great impression of a guy that sucks, Dot Com!"
My favourite character, he is so sweet ❤️
One of my favorite actors on this Show...this archetype represents so many.
Aw the end was so sad. I'd date him if I weren't gay.
That's so true, you can almost hear the Charlie Brown's sad music from arrested developpment when he walks away with his head down.
I still laughcry every time he walks off with his head like that. Dude is hella lovable :)
so that means you're not really "gay"
There are SO MANY good 30 Rock supercuts that should be made! How about all of the different names Tracy has for Liz?
Easily the greatest show of all time!
Pretty close tie with Parks and Rec. And I still resent Tina Fey for never making a cameo on Parks, even though Amy Poehler had several on 30 Rock ...
Tina Fey and Amy Phoeler are one of the greatest duos in history and I definitely agree, Parks and Rec another great show...I kind of wish Tina would've made some type of cameo though..
Quiet_Guy VERY DEBATABLE... there's Cheers, Parks and Recs, Monty Python's Flying Circus, MASH, Community, Welcome Back Kotter, The Office both versions, Fawlty Towers, All In The Family, Married With Children, Freaks and Geeks, Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, 3rd Rock From The Sun, The Simpsons seasons 3-8, Sherlock, Blackadder, etc...
Cheers maybe but the rest.. I dont know if I would put them in the greatest shows category
Quiet_Guy All In The Family has to easily be in the top 5. Very groundbreaking.
Lol, he called Dr. West, quest love.
I LOVE HIM!
30 hours walking in NYC as Dotcom.
lmao
@@baljot1231hey Harvard how’s your doctorate coming along?
0:48 is that guy about to break for com's legs
Yes, but the guy swinging the baton was gay so it equals out 🤣
He reminds me a little of Jordan Schlansky sometimes.
DotCom and Grizz would've been so boring and stereotypical if they were in any other show. Thank god for decent show creators like Tina Fey
awesome character from an awesome show
i totally got the Warren Moon reference ... Beebe was out of bounds
I do love Dot Com...
Grizz and Hers dude. We're all praying for Grizz and Hers.
Aww!!! I love you Dot Com!!
One of my absolute favourite TV characters
My favorite character on the show.
NEED MORE 30 ROCK!!!
I am so going to miss these characters.
No joke I think this is the best video on the internet
Man I love that show
questlove lmfaoooo
I get his reference about Warren Moon in ‘95.
such a good character. always funny
@CruelBoddhisatva
Are you deaf? His French is supperior than at least 90% of the non-French community.
Don't be pretentious.
God, I Am SUCH A HUGE Dot Com Mark!!!
QuestLove bit lmao!
The last one always hits me hard.
I knew there was a reason I related so well to Dot Com.
What was Warren Moon mad about in 1995?
+allnixdup He allegedly abused his wife in an incident
I've got an ex-wife, I understand.
OMG...my ribs hurt ... why does Dot com not have his own show?
the last line was fucking hilarious.
yes! someone please make that happen!
that was wonderful
The last one is THE BEST!
Mozart's Flute Concerto in G major, 1st movement at the beginning.
Quest Love 😭
I love that his name Walter
I respect and admire Dot com !
and for Kenneth!
30 rock rocks
Dot Com and kenneth are my favorite characters
Why was Warren Moon so angry in 1995? I asked Siri but she couldn't answer.
Siri or Cerie? Because they're both dumb.
[ba-dum tsss]
Warren Moon was with the Minnesota Vikings in 1995 and this is all I could find on Wikipedia; "He was traded to the Minnesota Vikings after the season, where he passed for over 4,200 yards in each of his first two seasons, but missed half of the 1996 season with a broken collarbone. The Vikings' starting quarterback job was given to Brad Johnson and Moon was released after he refused to take a $3.8-million pay cut to serve as Johnson's backup."
He was arrested for domestic violence in 1995.
@@partyguy101ify Cerie wasn;t dumb, just naive.
Oh Lawwwd!
he and I, both.
I love Dot Com.
I love Dot Com. We have so much in common.....guess that's why I'm still single...
wait, is Dotcom's real name Walter?
Yes
0:49 wtf? the background
.com is my favorite character
Dot com is my only joy.
"Oh my God! Ned stark is dead!"
another fun fact: Jack is a businessman, Kenneth is from the south, Pete is bald
I am Dot Com
DotCom was my favorite character after Liz.
It's the 30 Rock NBC site.
Dotcom is awesome!
I love dot com!!
I haven't been this sad since Scrubs ended. And Breaking bad ends this summer D:
So help me god
1:09
the fascism joke got me
Dot Com, so help me God!!!
0:22
That's Liz' room mate who tries to subdue Dotcom
should have got spin off
I fucking love dot com
anti-intellectualism makes people laugh, so it's good for a comedy show. Again some people on reddit got pissed off and went haywire for this
Dotcom was right about Lincoln, fuck.
Brian Griffin.
I fuckin' love Grizz or Dotcom
or? do you not know which one?
@@Dr.LongMonkey Jenna once called dot-com 'grizz or dot-com' (walked into Liz's office and said 'beat it grizz or dotcom')
Lol
Haha it links to their website. They should redirect to this video instead.
