@@itsLaUziCuh It may not effect the fiber, but what kind of attenuation loss can one expect where water intersects the laser light emitted by fiber. Also, there is corrosion or discoloration to the LC fittings and bridge assembly (not sure what that coupling is called in the MST.) Generally speaking the seals should prevent water intrusion but it's not and I would think there are consequences otherwise why bother making it supposedly water tight?

I hate that it's so close to that gas line. You know how many fiber optics gets busted because it so close to gas lines. We have to dig to find the gas lines and sometimes fiber gets damaged in the process.

so is there a way they can skip over a whole neighborhood because my neighborhood has at&t but not fiber there is a church behind my neighbors house and 6 houses right next to it basically a couple 1000 ft away from my house but the are on the county line idk if this has anything to do with my little part of the neighborhood not having it, because most of the city has it where im at and we dont it like 5-6 different circles in my neighboorhood and right before you turn in there is a factory and they also have it. So My Question Is When WILL FIBER Be Avaliable For Me And My Neighborhood Or Do You Think It Wont Happen At ALL????

I work for an underground utility company, that also runs and splices fiber optic cables. The owner of the company tells us all the time he doesn't even have fiber available at his own house, yet it is available up the road from him, and his company installed most of the fiber in the surrounding towns.
