    Glad to find another Arizonan aviator on CZcams! No one can't get enough of red and green view of Sedona! I've gotten all my certificates(up to CFI) at DVT. Cutter guys at Deervalley are always maintaining our fleet at best condition and really friendly. Always happy to work with them. Insanely busy airport that makes you a good pilot once you survive😂. Now I'm staying home but hopefully get back to work soon. Your video made me really nostalgic! Thank you so much sir!

    • @ParadigmUnkn0wn
      @ParadigmUnkn0wn Před 2 lety

      Standard length drivers can go right in the front compartment along with the rest of the set. And that's 4 sets in just the front baggage area. That leaves the entire rear baggage area for other luggage, plus all the cabin-space for 4 passengers and a fold-out table on one side. You'll need to stick to ultra-light bags and graphite clubs, though, since the front baggage area is only rated for 100lbs.

    • @FlyingwithBigErn
      @FlyingwithBigErn  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Michael! It would always be a concern for me. Not sure the right answer according to Piper. I would guess that it would be for a rapid depressurization to chop and drop. Otherwise the speed brake could help in getting down with the power up as to not shock cool the engine. Gotta baby those things right👍🏽. Cheers!

    Ugh, if only the Columbia 400 had inherited Lancair's pressurization. The cabin air system on the Columbia 400/Cessna TTx looks almost identical to a pressurized plane. It takes bleed air off the turbos through sonic nozzles. The Columbia 400 really feels like at some point the designers envisioned it being pressurized, but it never happened. Clearly the big TSIO-550 is up to the task of pressurizing a cabin. Hopefully the new Lancair Mako gets a pressurization option at some point, or some derivative includes pressurization.

    The pressurized cabin is a huge plus. I live in Florida and whenever I visit Colorado I get a little dizzy and flushed whenever I land at the Denver airport which is at around 5,200 feet and when I head up into the mountains around 8,000 to 10,000 feet I get moderate altitude sickness for at least few days and even after a week, I don’t feel 100% normal. Being able to fly at 16,000 to 22,000 feet and having a pressure altitude in the cabin of less than 8,000 ft without having to have oxygen is a huge deal for me. I would like to have a back up oxygen system in this plane, just in case. Even if I fly at 25,000 feet, having an 8,000 ft cabin pressure is still a little high for me living at sea level. I’d like to have the option of supplementing with a little oxygen.

    I have to wonder about any 737 pilot who after they closed the door behind them where's a mask covid 19. What's next afraid of breaking a mirror or walking under a ladder ?

    how could you eliminate the radio chatter? annoyingly loud.
    do you realize that wearing masks while piloting a commercial airliner invalidates your health certificate according to federal rules? really, wearing masks with just the two of you?

    Truly nice airplane! But do I want to see your pandemic faces all the time in the video.? No I do not! No panel shown in flight. To catch some performance. 😐 sorry but no good to me.

    Very egocentric view...would prefer to see the exterior and cockpit/avionics than the two subjects....

      Yup! It's just how I carry myself brother. I genuinely try to put others first. If you feel comfortable with me in a mask, then I'm wearing a mask regardless of my personal feelings in the matter. Cheers!

      The Mask is meant to display fearfulness, then validation to the narrative and finally a show of obedience and submission to the Government Authority.
