A Jungle Book inspired tree, to help transform the reception area of the Lee Chapel Primary School, here in Essex. The first of a multi-part serious of work.
Carved from polystyrene / styrofoam, with a protect sticky backed foil layer, resin and glass fibre, with a flow coat and artworked finish.

How is the snake made?
We used a rope, and covered it in polyurethane expanding foam, until it was a large enough form to then carve into the finished shape. It's then protected with a sticky back aluminum foil, and a layer of glass fibre. Car body fillers and sanded to a good finish, before artworking.
I wanted to know, what disney said when you use those kind of caracters for your project ? Do you pay something to disney, do you aks for a permission or nothing to do ?

Fortunately, The Jungle Book itself is beyond copyright, as the original book is so old (1920's I believe). And we deliberately didn't directly replicate a character design. Just a cartoon snake generally. A female snake, at that.
