Perfect timing. Just got one, by accident. It must have sneaked itself into my trolley, there is no other explanation for this 🤣
Me too! I accidentally added it to my shopping cart. Idk how it ended up in there😂
This is the most realistic comment I have ever seen 😂!
I love this plant, it looks like it was drawn by a child, need to get one for myself.
You would love that video of the boy opening a gift of a rather unique stuffed animal. He runs into his bedroom, and it's a replica of an original drawing he made. So cute!
Thanks for the tip about the red/pink tips from too much sun!
I saw your fishbone cactus in your early morning repot video and it caused me to want one. How funny that I bought a fishbone cactus like three hours ago and you posted a care video on the same day😂 lol thanks for influencing me and then teaching me how to take care of it!💚
I have it and it is like dog... It gives you much love without expecting anything... My poor bugger getting watter like only 5x year and never gave up on me... Still here with me.. ❤️
Hi hi! Hope you and yours are coping okay in the heat. Psyched for this video -- I picked one of these up about a month ago and am borderline obsessed with it.
Hoping my baby one grows like yours
💚🌵🌱🪴
Still in the heat here. Can see some stress in my plants but hoping they can keep going!! 🤗 beautiful video!
I just got 1 of these and they are beautiful..going to start my daughter one thank you for a great video as usual❤
I got one because of your love for it! This is a perfect video for me now.
I have two of these I started from a few cuttings. They are huge and they flower every year. The flower is a pale creamy white and has a lovely fragrance. The blooms are short lived. I am in NC USA and they spend late spring to early fall on a screened in porch hanging in bright filtered light.
Hello, I wondered if you could tell me how long it will take to grow a cutting after potting in soil? I’ve had mine in soil for a good few months now and nothing. She’s on a bright windowsill and I can tell she’s rooted. Thank you kind of if you can help at all!
I love your personality and plant collection. Thanks for sharing this beauty. I got one last yr to add to my current epiphyllum varieties. Love the look of this one! Have a wonderful day🌱
You spoke right to me..after I decided I should give some fertilizer to my plants.. Thank you for not allowing starvation in this home 🌿
Hi claire! Ur cactus is super cute! Thank you for all the tips! Have an amazing week and thank you for sharing💙💙💙
I saw this plant on Etsy today and it blooms too! Beautiful!
Thank you for this video. You are wonderful at explaining things. Very to the point as well ❤
Thank you so much, I'm glad you found it helpful 💚
I think we have very different experiences with what this cactus needs for light but it might be due to the difference between our environments. I live in the states (northern California) where it's very warm and always bright.
Mine gets a large amount of bright direct light. It always has pink tips as it grows and still has amazingly rapid growth. It gets thin fronds if it doesn't get huge amounts of light.
I noticed that it won't produce the modified leaves don't appear if it doesn't get enough light. It just produces the equivalent of runners. Just long bits without the zigzag part.
I also RARELY let it fully dry out save for in the winter, and even then only for a very short time.
It loves high humidity and this is actually a climbing plant that sticks against trees to grow. Epiphytic cactus grow in a humid environment.
Mine started out smaller than your beginning but I've had it for over a year. It's so big I had to move it out of my son's room. It took over half the window.
How much humidity do you have in California? I have red tips on new growth..seems normal..in Colorado..
Thank you for your information that's a good information for me it helps for my cactus
Agree, definitely a very fast grower! I picked up a tiny guy, each spike was only 2-3 inches, from home depot back in May. He's been outside on my deck, full sun, since and has grown immenseley!! But....his tips are red so now you've got me thinking.... leaves are definitely not burned though
This is such and interesting plant, Clah!!
Great video 💚💚💚💚👌👌👌👌
Love this plant ❤
Hi Claire! Such a pleasure to watch your videos... Could you please explain a bit more what you do before planting a cutting in the soil? You mentioned something that would last for 4-5 hours. Do you actually do something or just set the cutting aside for some hours? Thanks a lot in advance!!!
Great info. Thank you. How did you wrap the planter ? It looks really nice
This is a wish list plant!
One of my fave plants
Y💚UR FISHB💚NE IS FABUL💚US!!!
i love the hesitation to use the term 'moist'
Mine is a super fast grower as well!
A friend propagates it in water and it works very well. I ve got a cutting and I am growing it in Pon. Let’s see…
Great video, thank you! I just ordered one. Can you take multiple cuttings from one leaf like a snake plant? TIA
I have some cuttings which are in water at the moment. They will be going into Leca soon. My thinking is that if my Gollums and Jade plants are growing beautifully in Leca then the water rooted cuttings will do just as well 🤞🏼
Any recommendations on grow lights / bulbs for this plant?
I feel guilty now. I'm going out to repot mine and show it some love. Thanks.
Really enjoy your detailed instructions for plants...
I have never used Gold leaf fertilizer, but watch Houseplantygoodness on utube as well, and you both have great looking plants. Do you use 1/2 the recommended amount for this fertilizer as most people suggest for other fertilizers? Or what's the amount suggested? Also, is there just one type for all indoor plants?
How many applications of fertilizer can you get from a 500 ml bottle of Gold Leaf?
Please do a video on verucossum philodendron..
TIA,
GREETINGS FROM USA...
P.S. How is your Sarawak hoya doing now?.it was huge when package was opened..has it grown a lot since?.I just purchased one, but it will be tiny compared to yours. Can you do update on it?
..
What soil do you use, I have mine and all my other jungle cactus in a very chunky soil mix with orchid bark, coir etc which I use for my Hoyas and seems to be growing fine
Do you find this plant to have a shallow root system?
What is that plant with the enormous leaves just behind your head? Looks very interesting.
Hi, one of my stems is wilting but the rest of the plant is doing well, I’m not sure what to do about it
We just got one from someone who didn’t take very well care of. It has these long light brown patches on the plant. Looks like dried mud almost. Any idea? I can’t find anything that looks like this. It’s also dark green, most of what I’ve seen is light green.
How do we make ric rac cactus bloom?
❤
Mine has red tips and I thought that was normal, but apparently it’s getting too much light. 😰
Please make wideo with philodendron verucosum 🙏 i still dont get this plant 🙈
Hicthere. I have a cactus that looks like this one, but it's has lots of roots or strings all through the leaves. Do you know why?
Just sounds like aerial roots to me - nothing to worry about 💚
My zigzag plant is getting little roots at the end of each stem, why is this happening???
Air roots. You can remove them if you find them unsightly.
Why did the dog punch you in the face
I wish I had watched this a few weeks ago. It died within 2 weeks due to me watering it one time... I'm just so so bad with succulents.
