What a legend that coach seems. Proper character and clearly has buy in from his athletes.
Just my opinion - The BEST sweat elite video so far. Captured the energy in the environment really well. Complete contrast to the training run a in Boulder or Kenya.
Great athletes making good use of the resources at hand…… weather often dictates locations
probably the most insane strava kkkkk Jake semms to be such a cool guy... will definetly win a lot of races
Loved the commentary from the coach. Amazing group! Jake's such a personality. And damn Piers and James are fast too!
I love double workout days, you’d be surprised how good speed work could feel the evening following some morning threshold stuff.
I enjoyed James Thie's commentary quite a bit. He was a real stud just a few years ago.
after winning the london half this year hes been getting the recognition
Jake is the future of British long distance running, wishing him all the best 👍
Jake is one of my favorite athletes around right now, awesome to get a sweat elite video with him!
And he won the prize for the most fine and humble guy🥇🏆
Great content Matt. Keep it coming. Jake will provide excitement for many years to come
One of your training videos EVER & I’m a huge Jake Smith Fan
Three serious runners. Great footage and some awesome insight, particularly from James Thie! Also I love how meticulous Jake is with his training!
Jake is a really nice guy he gives me running tips if I ask him on ig maad respect
James never changes...a good thing!
Can't wait to see what Jake can REALLY do in the marathon. Great session guys
That coach sounds great! And it's funny to see that pro runners deal with the same "problems" as everyone else, ie : traffic on the indoor track 😂
Just amazing. This guy is going to be a superstar. Great great video
Really enjoyed that, thanks for sharing 👍
One of the best personalities in running for sure 👍
What a treat to hear Coach JT talk about the workout…. Hey James!
Hey Tony! We need to visit soon soon a 2hour run & some beers! Been too long!
Really good to see Britsh athletes get the recognition they deserve. Also did James tell you that this summer he ran a 4:23 mile which is some kind of V40 record?
Great video, Matt. Good to see the vibe of an indoor session (obviously we don't get that here in Oz, ha!). Keep it up, man.
Belter of a video... again. Great group and atmosphere in that training group.
Insane talent
Great video
Piers' 1500m PB is amazing
Nice...
Just one thing to consider: at around 15:20 there are several conversations going on, and it’s a bit difficult to follow because the audio doesn’t seem to be focused on one person. I’m sure being in a large indoor space doesn’t help. Maybe in the future a different microphone setup would be helpful. I don’t know much about audio recording though. Otherwise, I love your channel and the sense of connection you’re building through these videos!
Nice
Definitely your best video yet, great stuff guys! Was this a small track or does it just look smaller because it's indoors?🤔
Would be really cool if you could do these with sprinters also!
60:31 charts out to 2:07:xx so 2:06 is realistic with maturity...probably more
3:18 As a HongKonger, I am really glad to see that jealesy. This is the first time I see it.
@@masheeniblick Yeah I believe he mentioned that in the podcast with Sweat Elite - Claims his crazy aerobic capacity may be due to living in those conditions for years haha #funfact
what treadmill is he running on??
❤ reaping the Hong Kong singlet
I wand to see work Donavan Brazier
What is Jake smith's Height
Hii sir I am from india 800m/1:55 age -21
2x HARD training sessions in ONE day isnt smart!
Dime a dozen runner. Can still make a decent living being mediocre.
What is your pb time, calling out other people mediocre? If u cant get less than 30 min for 10km then youre in no position to say other people are mediocre
Do you realise he ran 2:11 off low mileage? Jake has time to improve as he’s very young. His marathon potential is massive
I think he was one of the most underrated runners in Europe. I am glad he is getting the recognition he deserves :)
