Fun fact about GTA SA Ammunation: if you aim at the seller with a sniper he wont shot at you and if you shot at his head(that was supposed to be a instant kill) he will fire several times at you before dying.

I like how the clerk in GTA V doesn't realize the cops are shooting at you while you're in the shop. And when you try to help him shoot the cops, he's like, "No shooting in my store!"
Tbf, the cops walked in his store shooting and then once you fore a shot he shoots you. Meaning so long as there is no discharging of firearms by anyone but him then everything is cool.

I never understood that "unable to shoot inside of buildings" feature from GTA V...

I guess it's to make sure that you don't accidentally right click in the building and end up pointing your gun at someone

In GTa 4 if you do not leave the store quickly after attacking the owner, a group of bodyguards enter and kill you

I remember being constantly being pounded by the Ammu nation owner in both of my Stories games when I was a kid. So I left the owner alone for the rest of my plays, I thought that he was op lol
GTA 4 gun dealers always had the homies 🤣
In the case of GTA III there is a wall that efectivedly not only disallows autoaiming, but prevents the player or the clerk from shooting themselves. It seems to be an early mechanism to prevent the player from killing the owner for ammo.
Fun fact in GTA LCS is that ammunation guy will eventually ran out of bullets and try to fist fight you behind the counter.

lmao I still remember that day when I was playing LCS and accidentally aimed at the seller and rekt me with 2-3 shots.
I got killed from him with one shot
He didn't kill me that because my health was at 1 HP in GTA 3
One more thing : In GTA 4 some gang members are present in the basement of gun stores. So if the seller calls them, they come and attack Niko and it's almost impossible to kill them
I though no one would say this!! It really often happens to me. They spaw in the back of the gun store, all with semi auto shotguns

Almost impossible to kill my ass, I will give you they have decent weapons but it really isn't difficult to kill them unless you get caught off guard.
Meh to Me they drop like fly's atleast I'm using cover by the largest table.
After the gang members coming I ran out of the shop and there was a cop car that 2 cops shot them all. I thought the gang members will win. Lol

You can actually aim guns at npcs in Gta III, you just have to switch to the "Classic" controls setup in the Settings
By the way, in GTA 3 and Vice city, the game negine only considers aiming as using auto-aiming, due to being originally designed for consoles (exceptuating being able to rob stores with the crosshair in vice city aswell.). Using auto-aiming on peds WILL get you reactions, not very pretty when tested on people carrying guns!

This gives me so many memories played liberty city stories and vice city stories the most back then
In both LCS and VCS aiming a Sniper inside the store won't cause the owner to shoot you. That was some sweet payback for the times the owner jumpscared me with their insta-summon shotguns and stun locked me to death.
You can aim at him in gta 3. But the m16 don't use those aiming, only fps aiming. You should use another pistol for that. And using in vc also the controller controlls. Those games are mainly made for a controller, so they will just react this way.
