The colorism on this show as an African woman watching black American series sometimes I wonder if all black women in America are lightskinned or black American men only date that type because all the young ladies on this show are lightskinned who are depicted as pretty the dark skinned women are either potrayed as single mothers struggling or somehow very masculine it’s really disappointing the self hate in this community
