- What you are looking at is the last Samurai. The pinnacle of the past, a no-go for the future. These shoes still offer exceptional cushioning, breathability, and ride, which were crafted and Perfected by Japanese masters. However, in the era of digital design and progressive materials, they stand little chance. For me it is a sad review, Emotional reminder of change.

...and I'm thinking of getting the contend for gyn use, cheap and cheap.
*gyn=gym :)
can you also do sprints with them
If you are Pro athlete - not really. If you are casual amateur - yep
as long term user Asics, I can confirm the recent Asics is disappointing specifically on the durability, grip as well as the versatility
Asics superblast is the unicorn super trainer. Try that, if you're into running.
@@charlesbukowski9752 haven't tried Superblast, but tried NB3 and it's not for me. As far as I know the characteristics were also similar in the "blast" series.
In my opinion it's not a "neutral" daily trainer due to pronounced medial forefoot cut out combined with sub decent grip it's a recipe for ankle injury for me, specifically my when running on uneven surfaces. Now I can only wear them on the treadmill. And does not feel natural with my gait (forefoot lighter weight). I have to intentionally stomp on the midfoot area. Probably heavier or a runner with stronger stride will enjoy it more.
Superblast is also narrow / unisex cutting, which unfortunately I have wide feet. ASICS has also changed their cutting into more narrow, I have to wear 4E and half size up since 2016 when Boston r&d HQ has opened; can't be a coincidence ;)
Drop???
