How to make one self strong?
I will share one method. When you want to stop something. Observe that who is suffering. Seek I. You will find that this I is localized, focused. Continue to observe. You will find that this I is inside you which is borderless. Cant feel any border. Continue observing. You will discover that this little focused I exist because you identified with something that is inside this localization. It may be anything. Any feeling, emotion etc. As soon as you realize this, identification will stop and you will return to yourself and feel Ananda for short time.
I find the I inside does have borders no?
It's the ego the idea of me?
I didn't hear/understand the 4 things he was talking about, showing his 4 fingers up and explaining the qualities towards people you should have.
Compassion towards the sad
Stay away from wicked people
What else?
Maitri: Friendliness with happy people.
Karuna: Compassion with unhappy people.
Mudita: Happy with virtuous people.
Upeksha: Disregard wicked people (don’t go and correct them).
